★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Thoroughly enjoyed this beautifully historic and unusual place at the very end of the D-Wagen (that makes a final turn on its route around the house before turning back). Great and relaxed atmosphere with a good selection on local specialties with a contemporary twist if needed. The owner is a joy to speak to and she still serves sometimes in person. My only criticism is the coffee (brand) that did not appeal to me. I would vote for Alvorada as it is a Viennese brand. Will return this week for Fish Special!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Food was great! Cheap and huge portions. 3 of us shared 2 dishes. We got the pork burger (which came with fries) and the weiner schnitzel which came with salad. Total bill was less than 21eur! Downside was that it was really under staff. Only one waiter serving everyone. We had to get our own menu and walk up to the counter to order, which wasn't much of a problem to us. But overall still a fantastic meal. And it allowed us to spot our tram back to spittelau.
