A lovely garden spot at the end of the tram line with both outdoor and table dining. They pour their own wines and the red was substantial with a good mouth-feel and an excellent value, pairing well with the wine-flavored brie, a full-flavored Austrian cheese, salami and bread we started with. Excellent service and customer interactions. We tried only a few of the meats/salads/vegetables and they were good but customers should know that the dishes they pick from the deli case are then heated in a microwave (if necessary) rather than remaining warm or coming from a kitchen. The real problem here is the hoard (literally) of fruit flies that hover in the case that held the desserts and crawl on the food. I would suggest to the management that they find a way to store the desserts themselves in a refrigerated and protected manner while presenting the customer a picture or sample tray from which to choose their treats.

Very friendly atmosphere in the yard. Sufficient space for larger groups. Service friendly and fast. Food selection typical for Heuriger. We could order from a buffet or menu card.

Recommend making a reservation. Options to sit outside and inside. Staff speaks English. Menu does not translate. Order wine, beer, schnitzel, fried chicken and small sides from service staff. All other foods get a tray and pay by the weight. Wine is incredible. Very romantic setting under the trees outside. Wine is amazing.

This heutiger is not far from the tram station, two beside each other. You can order food either a la carte or, like it’s traditional in Austria, go inside and order from a good buffet. As the vegetarian option (krautfleckerl) was sold out, I chose items from the buffet and paid roughly £15 for them. Not cheap but bread was fresh, aubergine and georgette nicely cooked and all was warmed up for me. Strudel was delicious but they could take out the kernels. But the service: slow and brought other tables first (Pic with view over Vienna is not from the heuriger)

Best Heuriger in town. This is the place to get great wine (sparkling muscatel is more than the name promises) and local seasonal food prepared austrian style by a very talented chef (the best are her "schinken fleckerl"). Great stuff with a typical vieneese "schmäh" (that is a kind of humor you will only find here...) - our younger daughter loves the waiters for their humor and service. We also celebrated our wedding in this gorgeous place - was a dream come true! Thank you for everything, we will return for sure!

One of the best Reislings I’ve ever had We visited here on a Saturday afternoon at the start of September - gorgeous outdoor setting as you will see in the below photos Our host spoke perfect English and German We tasted 4 wines on the menu and purchased several bottles of their Reisling We didn’t eat full meals here - just picked away at their buffet bar (would recommend) Great place to sit back and unwind

We have been here 3 times now over 2 years after day walks in the surrounding hills and it never disappoints. The veal schnitzel is according to one of our group “the best ever”. The buffet is typical heuriger and excellent, catering for all tastes. The Auer wines are all worth a taste, try the sparkling as an aperitif, and dont miss the Auer gemischter satz, a great choice with the schnitzel :-) The scene is chilled in the garden though you should book a table for peak times. The kitchen closes at 9pm, so dont be too late on a perfect summer evening. If driving there is a free parking area in an empty block nearby one street across via Traminergasse on the corner with Hammerschmidtgasse.
