★ ★ ★ ★ ★ It is supposed to be Vienna's oldest restaurant, and kept its charme and style. If you have the chance, go there at a sunny day and reserve (recommended) in the garden. The restaurant is excellent, I had veal liver, my sister and my son the dishes of the menu of the day (available only for lunch). The items on the daily menu are prepared like any item from the menu, tasty and nicely prepared for the eye. The price of about 15 Euro is amazing. As soon as i have the chance i will go there again for the daily menu.
Worth to mention: they have a private parking for their guests.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ When i got into the restraunt, the waiter touched my phone to look at my vaccine status. Its personal property. No touching! I ate in the main room. It was a very old building, however there was weird, creepy modern art on the walls which did not belong. Then when we ordered i asked for the “kalbbutterschnizl” and immediately he said its not a schnizel, instead a chunk of veal. I knew that. He thought I was dumb. The food was great however! After i finished the waiters grabbed all the stuff from the table as if they wanted me to leave immediately. I felt really akward and feel like they were taking advantage if me because I was a single diner. Overall, the feeling the place gave me made me to never want to return even though the food was good. The waiters should be trained to treat everyone equally. In all, i recommend to go there with a big group. Waiters treat you better if you are a group.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Good and proper Austrian food with friendly staff. Did wait quite a bit for service during the evening though, and they didn't ask us for wine to drink with the food, forgot our drinks order etc.
But cosy.
