★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Endstation der Linie D. Eher in der Natur gelegen. Start des Stadtwanderweges 1. Alles gut beschriftet. Leider keine Umsteigemöglichkeit. Sonst sehr schön.
End point of line D. More in the nature. Start of the city hiking trail 1. Everything is well labeled. Unfortunately no transfer option. Otherwise very nice.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Seit meiner Kindheit einer meiner liebsten Spazierwege. Mit dem D-Wagen bis zur Endstation und dann parallel zur Zahnradbahnstraße den Beethovengang hinauf. Vorbei an Weingarten kann man bis auf den Kahlenberg wandern. Oder auf halbem Weg nach links abbiegen und nach Grinzing. Zu jeder Jahreszeit lohnend.
Since my childhood one of my favorite walks. With the D-car up to the final stop and then parallel to the cog railway the Beethovengang up. Past Weingarten you can hike up to the Kahlenberg. Or turn halfway to the left and to Grinzing. Worthwhile in every season.
