★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The restaurant always has excellent seasonal, local and Bio food. It might not look like much from the outside and I myself went there by chance only but the food is exceptional. The menu changes from day to day and everything is freshly made. Our latest discovery is their steak offer- they are not on the menu so you need to ask. It was amazing. Went there again after a few days as we had to have more. They also suggest wine pairing as they have a large choice of wines. The Chef there is super knowledgeable and the staff very friendly.
They also have a small shop with bio produce. Really nice meats, cheese, vegetables, etc. It is a bit on the pricey side but the quality is good.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I am a regular customer in this shop and I quite like their cakes, and then last time I went there I had a very unpleasant experience.
I wanted to buy chestnuts and could not see them, so I asked in German "Haben sie kastanien?". Then the shop assistant answered "Maroni? Kastanien sind auf der Straße!". Then she showed me the chestnuts, and that wasn't even so bad, although maybe a bit dismissive.
But then there were other customers in the shop and they started commenting and laughing about this with the shop assistant for like 5 min, haha, hihi, I was too annoyed to try to understand what they were saying but it was clearly about me, even the second shop assistant joined the parade. Then the other customers left and I went to pay, and the shop assistant said "I didn't mean to offend you before". Then I just said that at least they had a good laugh, then payed and left.
I mean, apart from offending a customer, what I deem unacceptable is the xenophobic behavior, this pack-like mocking of a foreigner just because they don't speak the language so well, or come from another background (where kastanien and maroni go under the same word). And I don't think the cakes are good enough to compensate for a service like that, so I don't think I will shop there anymore.
