★ ★ ★ ★ ★ My husband and I have been going to this great old Viennese restaurant for 40 years now, and his parents went there before that! A must if you want to visit a very typical family Viennese restaurant with excellent food and excellent value.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Tried this place because it was near our Airbnb. The food was fine but the service was rude and made us feel unwelcome. The server gave the impression he was not interested in us. For example, when we asked if we could have more bread he gave a big annoyed sigh and gave us one more piece. So if you are looking for a place with friendly service, not recommend.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ RACIST WAITERS. I was there with someone else who's Caucasian. I am Hispanic. I live in Europe, showed the waiter my COVID pass, he "didn't trust it" and demanded to see my passport (I have an American passport). This is not a normal custom in Austrian restaurants right now, even with COVID regulations. He seemed to calm down after he saw the American passport, but was still horribly rude to me afterwards. Didn't treat my friend this way, my friend showed him his COVID pass and there was no issue. This has never happened to me before at a restaurant. Oh yeah, GODAWFUL schnitzel. One of the worst I've had in Vienna, if not the worst. Avoid this place.
