Είναι υπέροχο το γεγονός ότι έχουν χτίσει με υλικά από τις ανασκαφές τα σπίτια όπως πιστεύουν ότι ήταν τα χρόνια της Ρωμαϊκής Αυτοκρατορίας. Μπορείς να μπεις μέσα στα κτήρια και νιώθεις πως όντως είσαι μέσα στα κτήρια την εποχή εκείνη! Μπαίνεις μέσα στα σπίτια, στα δωμάτια κανονικά και έχουν φτιάξει έτσι τους χώρους όπου νιώθεις και τις μυρωδιές! Μπορείς να μπεις ακόμα και στα Λουτρά όπου κανονικά μπορείς να δεις πως έκαναν μπάνιο στους χώρους αυτούς αλλά και πως ζεσταίνονται! Απλά μια υπέροχη εμπειρία την οποία αξίζει κάποιος να την ζήσει! Το μόνο αρνητικό είναι πως δεν έχουν ξενάγηση στα αγγλικά παρά μόνο στα γερμανικά. Δυστυχώς δεν υπάρχουν ταμπέλες επεξήγησις παρά μόνο στην είσοδο όπου θα πρέπει να θυμάσαι τι είναι το κάθε ένα δωμάτιο! A wonderful archeological site. It is wonderful that they have built the houses with materials from the excavations as they believe to be the years of the Roman Empire. You can enter the buildings and feel that you are really inside the buildings at that time! You enter the houses, the rooms normally and they have made the places where you feel and the smells! You can even enter the Baths where you can normally see how they bathed in these areas but also how warm they are! Just a wonderful experience that is worth living! The only downside is that they do not have a tour in English but only in German. Unfortunately there are no explanation signs except at the entrance where you have to remember what each room is!

Na mieste pôvodných rímskych stavieb vybudované repliky budov a celý komplex pôsobí ako malá dedinka. Človeka to doslova vtiahne do histórie, keďže všetko sa dá naozaj naživo videť a ošahať. Miesto je naozaj krásne a kúzelné. Angličtina žiadny problém, pár popisiek v slovenčine. Možno iba príliš veľa ľudí kazí celkový dojem, ale inak to asi nejde. Definitely the most iconic place of the three stops of the Carnuntum Museum. Replicas of buildings built on the site of the original Roman buildings and the whole complex looks like a small village. It literally draws a person into history, as everything can be really seen and touched live. The place is really beautiful and charming. English no problem, a few labels in Slovak. Maybe only too many people spoil the overall impression, but otherwise it probably can't.

Sehr professionell, Freilichmuseum am neuesten Stand der Technik. Nachbauten von römischen Thermen einer Stadtvilla. Wunderschön. It was surprising and very impressive indeed. Especially since I was there for the last time 30 years ago. Very professional, state-of-the-art open-air museum. Replicas of Roman thermal baths in a city villa. Beautiful.

P	Petr Sobíšek on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ A very beautiful place with Roman excavations, not quite usual - apart from the standard statues, weapons, pots, etc. in the museum, a part of the Roman city - spas, residential houses, shops and workshops - was rebuilt in the original places by the original methods according to archaeological knowledges. So here you can try be in real Rome on your own senses. Detailed descriptions in English and Slovak. In addition to the renovated residential area, you can see the remains of two amphitheatres, a gate and a museum with found objects. Paid entrance is to (one ticket for all) - Roman City Quarter, Milithary Amfitheater and Museum (in Bad Deutsch Altenburg).
