★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Auf etwa halbem Wege zwischen Außer- und Innergschlöß liegt die Felsenkapelle Maria Schnee. Sie stammt aus dem Jahre 1870 und wurde damals durch Vergrößerung einer Höhle am Boden eines mächtigen Felsbrockens herausgearbeitet. Die Portalwand wurde aus Steinen der Umgebung gemauert. Besonders bemerkenswert ist das Farbenspiel des steinernen Deckengewölbes, das im ersten Moment an eine moderne Malerei erinnert. Die ursprüngliche Kapelle aus dem 17. Jahrhundert wurde durch Lawinen zerstört.
 The Maria Schnee rock chapel is about halfway between the Ausser- and Innergschlöss. It dates from 1870 and was carved out by enlarging a cave at the bottom of a mighty boulder. The portal wall was built from stones from the area. Particularly noteworthy is the play of colors in the stone vaulted ceiling, which at first is reminiscent of a modern painting. The original 17th century chapel was destroyed by avalanches.
