Magnificent location - 3000 meters wherever you look. The food was delicious, the sanitary facilities were great and the location was spacious. Certainly not a low budget hut, but worth the price!

One of my nicest hikes, but extremely hot. The food is not cheap but very good. Anyone who starts nagging should better stay at home.
S	Silke Lühnen on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Wir sind von Praxmar über den sehr schönen Sommerweg zum Westfalenhaus gekommen und haben 3 Nächte dort verbracht. Ich kann das Westfalenhaus sehr empfehlen: Man kann einige tolle Gipfel von hier erreichen, es gibt eine tolle Sonnenterrasse, sehr leckeres Essen (hatten HP) und mega Frühstücksbuffet, die Ausstattung ist super und sehr gemütlich, Rinaldo und sein Team sind auch spitze … für nicht gibts nichts zu meckern hier ? We came from Praxmar to the Westfalenhaus via the beautiful summer path and spent 3 nights there. I can highly recommend the Westfalenhaus: You can reach some great peaks from here, there is a great sun terrace, very delicious food (half board) and a mega breakfast buffet, the equipment is great and very cozy, Rinaldo and his team are also great ... for nothing there is nothing to complain about here ?

M	Marcel Haring on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Die Qualität der Speisen ist in Ordnung. Freundlichkeit der Bedienung ist ausbaufähig, 3G wird nicht kontrolliert. Der ausschlaggebende Grund für diese schlechte Bewertung jedoch sind die horrenden Preise. Ich bin oft auf ÖAV-Hütten, aber 17€ für Kasspressknödel mit Salat habe ich noch nie gezahlt. Das ist einfach gierig, denn auf vergleichbaren Hütten (auch mit Materialseilbahn) gibts das um die Hälfte. Mein Tipp: Einfach in Lüsens einkehren. The quality of the food is okay. The friendliness of the service can be improved, 3G is not controlled. The main reason for this poor rating, however, is the horrendous prices. I often go to ÖAV huts, but I've never paid 17 € for press dumplings with salad. That is just greedy, because on comparable huts (also with material ropeways) you get half that. My tip: just stop by in Lüsens.
A	Anonym 22 on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Wir sind nach ca. 3 Stunden mit Pausen angekommen. Wir haben Nudel-und Kaspressknödelsuppe und Hirtenmakkaroni bestellt.War alles sehr lecker. Besonders zu empfehlen ist der Kaiserschmarrn-einer der besten, den ich je gegessen habe!!!! Die Bedienung ist sehr sehr freundlich und erfüllt auch Extrawünsche. Klar, die Preise sind schon etwas teurer, aber wenn man bedenkt das alle Lebensmittel vom Tal auf die Hütte transportiert werden müssen, ist das völlig okay. Die Zimmer waren sehr sauber und gemütlich. Sanitäranlagen auch super sauber und relativ neu gestaltet. Wjr können die Hütte sehr empfehlen, auch für Familien und würden jederzeit wiederkommen. We arrived after about 3 hours with breaks. We ordered pasta and cheese dumpling soup and shepherd's macaroni. Everything was delicious. I particularly recommend the Kaiserschmarrn - one of the best I've ever eaten !! The service is very, very friendly and also fulfills special requests. Sure, the prices are a bit more expensive, but when you consider that all groceries have to be transported from the valley to the hut, that's okay. The rooms were very clean and cozy. Sanitary facilities also super clean and relatively redesigned. We can highly recommend the hut, also for families and would come back anytime.
