Nur leider durfte unser Hund die Gaststube nicht betreten, sodass wir draußen bleiben mussten obwohl es draußen frisch war. Essen und Getränke waren aber gut. After a 4 hour ascent, we arrived at the hut with pleasure. Unfortunately, our dog was not allowed to enter the lounge, so we had to stay outside even though it was fresh outside. Food and drinks were good.

Wir wurden herzlich empfangen und gut versorgt. Die Räumlichkeiten sowie das Essen waren super. Grüße an den Hüttenwirt und vielen Dank aus Norddeutschland, ich werde sicher wieder kommen! We stayed for one night at the Hochstubaihütte. The way to the hut, the location as well as the hut itself are difficult to top. We were warmly welcomed and well taken care of. The premises and the food were great. Greetings to the host and many thanks from northern Germany, I will definitely come back!
M	Maria Topp on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Atemberaubende Ausblicke und Wandertouren sind von dieser Hütte aus garantiert. Jedoch gab es keine Duschmöglichkeit und kein warmes Wasser, schade wenn es auf dieser Höhe kalt und nass ist. Das Damenklo war leider über Macht abgeschlossen, was nicht sehr praktisch ist. Persönlich finde ich die Preise für Übernachtung und die Halbpension etwas überteuert. Gerade da es die angesprochenen Mängel gab und das Essen nicht sehr vielfältig war. Sonst war der Empfang sehr freundlich aber zurückhaltend. Breathtaking views and hiking tours are guaranteed from this hut. However, there was no shower and no hot water, a shame when it is cold and wet at this altitude. The ladies toilet was unfortunately locked via power, which is not very practical. Personally, I find the prices for overnight stays and half board a bit overpriced. Especially since there were the mentioned shortcomings and the food wasn't very diverse. Otherwise the reception was very friendly but reserved.
R	Rahel on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Herrliches Bergpanorama! Schwindelfrei und trittsicher ist nötig! Ebenso Kondition, 1300 Höhenmeter sind nach oben und nach unten zu bewältigen. Vorher evtl informieren, wie die genauen Wanderbuszeiten sind und wenn nötig, ob die Stubaihütte offen ist! Rundwanderung empfehlenswert und möglich innert 5 bis 7h. Magnificent mountain panorama! You need to be free from giddiness and surefooted! Also fitness, 1300 meters up and down are to be mastered. If necessary, inform in advance how the exact hiking bus times are and, if necessary, whether the Stubaihütte is open! Circular hike recommended and possible within 5 to 7 hours.

H	Hadrian Augustyn on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Very cozy place you need to visit when climbing Hocher Nebenkogel (3200 MAMSL). Have in mind that there is no cable car nor road to deliver the goods, so expect the variety of meals / produce accordingly. They have just celebrated the 80th birthday with great fireworks organized by local fire brigade. There seems to be a tradition in this hut of greeting every individual by shaking his/her hand. Sorry, that I didn't knew about it in advance:(
