P	Philipp Bleimund on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Leider kann man nicht 6 von 5 Sternen geben. Das Haus ist super. Es ist sauber gemütlich und hat gute Sanitäre Anlagen. Die Lage ist auch hervoragend. Doch der Wirt und das Essen, welches sich auf Sterne Niveau bewegt, toppen noch Mal alles. Unfortunately you cannot give 6 out of 5 stars. The house is great. It is clean, cozy and has good sanitary facilities. The location is also excellent. But the host and the food, which is at the star level, top everything again.
F	Familie Leentjens on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We hebben deze hut al vaker bezocht, maar dan om te overnachten. Deze keer hebben we de 'luie' route heen en weer vanaf de gletsjerbaan genomen. De apfelstrudel was heerlijk en gastvrijheid zoals we gewend zijn. Volgende keer hopen we de hut weer als steunpunt voor meer alpine activiteiten te kunnen inzetten. We komen graag terug! We have visited this cabin before, but then to stay the night. This time we took the 'lazy' route back and forth from the glacier track. The apple strudel was delicious and hospitality as we are used to. Next time we hope to be able to use the hut as a support point for more alpine activities. We would love to come back!
Y	Yves M. on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Freundlich zugewandt und schön warm ist es in der Gaststube. Wir hatten ein 3-Bett-Zimmer und eine heiße Dusche - wunderbar. It is friendly and warm in the dining room. We had a 3 bed room and a hot shower - wonderful.

Durch die Materialseilbahn kann jeder seine schöne und bunte Ausrüstung hochschaffen lassen. Nicht meine Welt. Wonderful cabin with great food. But this is also where the Bussi, Bussi climbers meet. Everyone can have their beautiful and colorful equipment carried up the material ropeway. Not my world.
G	Gnampfest on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Mal vorweg was gut ist: Hütte ist sauber, die Renovierung von 2019 kann sich sehen lassen und das Essen hat gut geschmeckt (aber mehr dazu gleich) Was nicht gut ist: Laut der Bedienung gäbe es kein Bergsteiger-Essen (was die Hütten AV Mitgliedern aber anbieten müssen). Stattdessen wurde vorgeschlagen, wenn wir keine Halbpension wollen, könnten wir auch nur Hauptspeise und Salat, sowie Frühstück als "kleine Halbpension" nehmen. Die Portion abends war dann lächerlich klein und auf freundliche Nachfrage gab es keinen Nachschlag, da der nur für die richtige Halbpension wäre. Frühstück war dann plötzlich doch nicht mehr inkludiert und er wollte jeweils 16 € für das Frühstück und dann Abendessen haben. Dass das der vollständigen Halbpension entspricht, entzieht sich jeder Logik. An unserem Tisch wurde noch eine Runde Schnaps angeboten, auf Nachfrage eines anderen Mannes, heiß es es geht aufs Haus. Dass er dann trotzdem 3,50€bezahlen musste, passt ins Bild. Fazit: Solange man Halbpension bucht, viel Schnaps oder wahlweise Bier trinkt, ist man der beste Freund des Wirtes. Als nicht so zahlungskräftiger Bergsteiger kriegt man genau das zu spüren und sollte sich eigene Verpflegung mitnehmen. #zweiklassengesellschaft First of all what is good: The hut is clean, the renovation from 2019 is impressive and the food tasted good (but more on that in a moment) What is not good: According to the waitress, there is no mountaineering food (which the huts have to offer AV members). Instead, it was suggested that if we don't want half board, we could only take the main course and salad, as well as breakfast as "small half board". The portion in the evening was ridiculously small and on friendly request there was no refill, as it would only be for the right half board. Breakfast was suddenly no longer included and he wanted € 16 each for breakfast and then dinner. There is no logic in the fact that this corresponds to full half-board. Another round of schnapps was offered at our table, at the request of another man, hot it’s on the house. That he still had to pay € 3.50 fits into the picture. Conclusion: As long as you book half board, drink a lot of schnapps or optionally beer, you are the host's best friend. As a not so affluent mountaineer, this is exactly what you feel and should take your own food with you. #two-class society
D	Dirk Weingarten on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Am 31.8. wanderten wir von der Siegerland- zur Hildesheimer Hütte. Auch diese Berghütte ist sehr zu empfehlen. Der Anbau ist wirklich super, wie auch das Hüttenessen. Leider der letzte Sommer vom sehr netten Pächterehepaar Fiegl. Alles Gute für die Zukunft. On August 31 we hiked from the Siegerland to the Hildesheimer hut. This mountain hut is also highly recommended. The cultivation is really great, as is the hut food. Unfortunately the last summer from the very nice tenant couple Fiegl. All the best for the future.
