★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Ich hatte Anfang des Jahres das Vergnügen, die Künste von Wolfgang Wechtl erleben zu dürfen, als er sich fantastisch um eine alte Omega gekümmert hat, die neben einer Gehäuseaufarbeitung auch ein paar Ersatzteile brauchte.
Seine Werkstatt wurde mir mit den Worten, er sei der beste ihm bekannte Uhrmacher, von einem befreundeten Sammler empfohlen. Dies kann ich nur so unterschreiben! Neben der äußerst präzisen, sauberen und gewissenhaften Arbeit ist er einfach ein herrlicher Zeitgenosse, mit dem die Kommunikation alleine schon eine große Freude ist. Jederzeit gerne; er bekommt meine anderen Uhren auch zur Restauration/ Wartung.

 At the beginning of the year, I had the pleasure of being able to experience the arts of Wolfgang Wechtl, when he took fantastic care of an old Omega that, in addition to refurbishing the case, also needed a few spare parts.
His workshop was recommended to me by a collector friend who said he was the best watchmaker he knew. I can only sign this like that! In addition to the extremely precise, clean and conscientious work, he is simply a wonderful contemporary, with whom communication alone is a great pleasure. Anytime gladly; he also gets my other watches for restoration / maintenance.
