★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Gorgeous waterfall. Beautiful views from the top and bottom of the falls. In was amazing in the day but I would suggest going at night as there are lights that display it really well. Overall a must see in Bad Gastein.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ One of the main attractions in Salzburg are the waterfalls. And if you are short of time, then driving to Gasteinertal or Gastein Valley could be a wise option. About an hour and a half of extremely scenic drive from Salzburg City Center and you reach Gasteinertal. The waterfall flows from between the settlement in the valley and you have the option to walk upto the highest of 3 levels. From the top, the view of the valley is also breathtaking. Stop by for a coffee and shop at some cool stores close by. It may be slightly expensive to buy stuff here, but still worth checking out.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The view from below the waterfall is beautiful with all the water drops sprinkling into the air, but the best point of view remains the bridge above. The best thing is to go for a walk to have a look at the river at different locations.
