S	Sylvia Van Den Bulk on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Wij zijn in de voorjaarsvakantie met onze zoon van 15 in Wanderhotel Erika verbleven. En wij zijn zeer tevreden over het hotel. Alles was goed: de service, de kamer, het eten, de hygiëne. De ligging was ook prima. Het zit wel een klein stukje van de piste. Maar er komt een bus op 100 m lopen en dan ben je binnen 1 halte bij de piste. Er zit ook een Spar om de hoek. Een pizzeria in de buurt en andere restaurants en winkels zijn op loopafstand. In het hotel zelf kun je ook heerlijk dineren voor een leuk vast bedrag heb je een goed driegangen menu en dat kun je per dag aangeven of je hiervan gebruik wil maken (na het zien van het dagmenu). Ontbijt is goed en uitgebreid. In het hotel is ook een verwarmde skiruimte aanwezig. De eigenaar/eigenaresse en personeel zijn zeer aardig en behulpzaam. Niets is te veel. Wij zaten op de bovenste verdieping en hadden een erg mooi uitzicht over een deel van Wagrain en naar de bergen. Voor ons is dit hotel zeker voor herhaling vatbaar. We stayed at Wanderhotel Erika with our 15-year-old son during the spring break. And we are very satisfied with the hotel. Everything was good: the service, the room, the food, the hygiene. The location was also fine. It is a short distance from the slopes. But there is a bus at 100 m and then you are within 1 stop at the slopes. There is also a Spar around the corner. A pizzeria nearby and other restaurants and shops are within walking distance. In the hotel itself you can also have a delicious dinner for a nice fixed amount. You have a good three-course menu and you can indicate that per day whether you want to use this (after seeing the daily menu). Breakfast is good and extensive. There is also a heated ski room in the hotel. The owner/owner and staff are very nice and helpful. Nothing is too much. We were on the top floor and had a very nice view over part of Wagrain and to the mountains. This hotel is definitely worth repeating for us.

The hotel is good, clean, with parking, with very good option for food, suitable for families (overlapped beds, playground and playroom for children), suitable for groups too, with facilities for skiers (close to the bus station, close to the slopes, with a ski room and a wellness area - sauna), close to shops and a nice, pleasant atmosphere. Housekeeping was everyday and plenty towels. About the food: very good with fresh ingredients. All the time, the food was varied, different choices and if you have a certain preference for you or for your child, they try to find a solution for everyone (like: vegetarian, gluten-free, rice/no potatoes or maybe spinach, no salt, etc). Anyway, if you have a special diet I suggest you to contact them before booking. The breakfast was varied (bread, butter, jam, eggs, bacon, cereals, fruits, ham, salami, cheese, vegetables, tea, coffee, milk, hot chocolate etc), apres ski was welcome (homemade cake or something else). The dinner sometimes was more than enough :), very good cooked and really delicious: buffet(salads, soup, cheese, desserts) and a meal a la carte (from 3 options).

The hostess was very friendly and full off information about the hotel and the area. Half-board stay was very affordable for our family of five; dinner and breakfast were excellent. I rate it five stars because I immediately wanted to stay there again.

The food is not gourmet, but basic. There is normally different main dishes that you can choose from. Good location for walking in surrounding mountains. Free access to nearby waterpark. Quiet neighbourhood. Excellent view. I would like to come back.
