Very good rate between price and quality. Hotel located in the centre of Wagrain, but quiet, well insulated. Lack of parking lots. No experience with the restaurant...

We stayed one week at Eveline and Hans Schindlmaißer cozy hotel in the summer of 2015. We chose a package including half-pension with free entrance to the public swimming-pool in Wagrain. This was a good choice and bargain: Walking along the well-marked walking-paths untill the afternoon, cooling down in the pool and enjoing a three course meal in the evening! Very family and children-oriented. Our children were offered alternative servings, etc.

Quite ugly restaurant. Weird decoration, ugly old chairs. Food was very dissapointing. Veal Wienerschnitzel was made of old or defrosted meat, fried on old weary and for sure too cold oil. Potatoes were reheated, so was rice served with quite unfresh veal liver. Staff is very friendly but the rest is a mess.

The owners stole from us!! We basically had to pay for the stay twice and they never returned the money back. Now they do not communicate - they are not answering our calls or emails. Avoid this place if possible!!! The issue was, that we paid for the stay in advance last minute by a bank transfer, but at the time of our checkout, they told they still haven't received money from the bank, so we have to pay it on spot by card. The lady promised to send back the money they received from the bank once it arrives. That was the last time we heard from them. The worst thing is the lack of communication. You should seriously reconsider treating your customers. We will be escalating this issue and file a lawsuit, because nothing else seems to be working.
