★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Just to reiterate the previous comments, this place is exceptional. Our host was amazing, he cooked us an amazing breakfast that we ate in the court yard on a sunny spring day. The room was excellent. There is plentiful free parking that is easy to park in. The old town is walking distance away. Would recommend to anyone staying in Salzburg on holiday or on business.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The hotel is only a short walk from the city centre, and easily accessible from the main train/bus station. We were greeted by Alex who waited for our arrival past his closing time which was very kind of him. The room was very modern with complementary Mozart balls on arrival. The breakfast was from 7am and it was just spectacular. A lot of vegetarian and vegan options with a variety of fruits, local cheeses and even local meats and cakes. Lovely entertainment by Alex and his sports enthusiasm.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Absolutely loved staying here! Alex, the owner was so welcoming and extremely hospitable (he's got great stories to tell!). Villa Verde is only a 15min walk to town (even quicker by bus, but would recommend walking since the surrounding area is beautiful). The room was spacious and relaxing (love the ceiling window). The breakfast selection was amazing and delicious as well. My only regret is not staying longer!!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The entire family (two adults and two small children) stayed at Villa Verde on August 13th for five nights. The communication was excellent, and we were able to make changes to the booking before arrival due to a change in flight plans. Although the reception was closed when we arrived, they explained to us where the room was and gave us a lovely villa to stay in. It came with a kitchen equipped with everything needed, including a dishwasher and stove. The whole villa was spotless, including the showers. Each day's cleaning was carried out at the highest standard. There is no air conditioning in the villa. There was only one fan. After asking for another fan for the kids, we received one that very next day.
Excellent personal service and a delicious breakfast are available here. We found Iris and Alex to be always available and accommodating.
We found the place to be perfect for us. Salzburg's public pool (Freibad Leopoldskron) is literally a few steps away from the location, ideally suited for families with children on hot days.
Although it did not bother us, it is worth considering that the reception is not always open and that the rooms do not have air conditioning.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Alex and Iris are great. Full credit to their covid passport responsibilities. It is the quality of a high end hotel, but the price and family feel of a b&b. We have traveled all over the world and this is how it should be done.
Can't say enough for these quality people.
