Good location, great staff, bed alright. But there are not enough bathrooms and they unfortunately were quite dirty...

New place with very nice Polish staff, smiley and happy girls very welcoming. Location wise, the hostel is located with 15-20 minutes walk from the old town which depends on the person is nice or not.. for me it was okay, but it can be far at night when you are drunk or tired to come back from the city. The rooms are nice and clean, beds are comfortable, communal toilets are clean, but maybe there are not enough toilets.. Price was a bit expensive for a hostel in the city. We paid 28€ for a bed in a 4 beds room, in other cities in Europe the prices are way cheaper around 15€ for the things you get in the hostel. Breakfast is 7€( also expensive) , but there is a communal kitchen where one should bring food with him, that will save you money.. They have a nice quiet bar.

This is the first hostel that I've been to where you need to make your own bed everyday you stay in. No phone to call the reception. No towels unless you ask for it and when you do, they will give you a dirty shower towel. We asked kindly asked them to have our pillows and blankets change because they didn't smell good, they said they did, but it still smelled the same. Do not stay on this hostel.

Staff is super friendly, (common)rooms are clean and well maintained! A short walk takes you right to the -old- city centre of Salzburg. In short; We had a really lovely stay :)

We paid 23 Eur each per night for 1 bed apiece (3 beds in total) in Aug-14 in what is decidedly a costly city to tour. For this price, we got a good-looking hostel, helpful and nice folks at the reception, a spacious common area (with free wi-fi), elegant 4-bed dorm rooms with excellent bedding, roomy cupboards, two pairs of writing table and chair and access to shared bathrooms that were clean. An excellent (near throwaway) bargain given that 4-bed dorms are usually pricier than this. The drawbacks were no breakfast (not that it wasn't included but that no breakfast was served at all) and the rather poor location in terms of connectivity to the city. We had to walk a fair bit to the nearest bus stop at which buses sauntered in at a sporadic frequency. On our day of departure, despite our train being at 0830, we were a touch anxious. Still, we came here from a unique, budget-friendly but a rather bewildering experience (being first-timers) at The Tent, Munich. The cozy comfort this place provided could not have been better timed for us and we enjoyed every bit of our 3 nights stay here. My friends managed to squeeze in laundry here and came to regard it as an efficient affair. We met some interesting people here too. Couple of fellow Indians and a Brit who'd graduated recently and had come here after visiting Dubrovnik and Split. He recommended the walking trail to the start of the Hohensalzburg hike through fields and open country under sunny skies that we thoroughly enjoyed. That's the kind of tip you hope to get from a fellow backpacker.

€116 for 2p for one night where you have to make your bed and take it off the next day is simply too much. It isn't in the centre either. Plus side is that it's pretty quite at night though and our room was clean.

The staff is really friendly, the coffee machine is great, they separate their trash, and you can leave food in a food box behind, so that it doesn't go to waste! The rooms are cozy and clean, just like the shared areas (bathroom, kitchen). Overall, we had an amazing stay and are very happy with this hostel. :)

Great hostel, the rooms are clean and staff is friendly. Also there is a kitchen for shared use. And outdoor a garden for eating your breakfast. There is also a swimming pool on a 5 min walk (entry 5 Euro per persoon) And the center is a 25 min walk
