J	Judith Kragset on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Nice, scenic hotell with fabulous spa and fitness facilities and friendly and serviceminded staff at the front desk. Dinner however was a disaster. It took 1,5 hours to be served, there were no explanations, updates or excuses from the waiter in charge, and apart from the nice young Hungarian who excused their problems and was sorry, the service was terrible. When at last the food was served, several dishes were missing, the steaks were not cooked according to orders, and there was general chaos. Needless to say, we endel up cancelling our lunch reservation for the next day. It is a real pity that the restaurant let them down, though, beause this is otherwise an excellent hotell!

(No problem with that) But they cancel your reservation saying your credit card was invalid (it wasn't) and when you ask them why they claim your card invalid they never even reply to you.

Only comments was some of the staff was not as friendly were our luggage was pictured which totally not accepted !!!. Overall a very good experience however an important element that makes any trip great is the staff respect to the guest

Huge room, very spacious and stylish, with a large balcony providing a amazing view mountains. Excellent choice at breakfast. Also Providing extras that other hotels would charge for, such as robes, slippers, complimentary bottled water. Highly recommended

We got a massage but they were not the best we’ve had for the prices they have there. However the staff is very attentive and the hotel is great. We will definitely come back one day!

The hotel is very hospitable with good design and reasonable good selection. The spa facilities in lake and mountain setting is second to none, just prefect. The hotel can improve on fresh pastry and bread selection at breakfast and more exciting selection of hot food at dinner . We highly recommend the hotel for three nights break.

A few days before check in, yesterday, we were told lake view rooms were all gone and we could only stay in a mountain view room. Hotel said this happened because we changed credit card on the reservation, except we've done this dozens of times before and no issues. No prepayment was due to the hotel, no pre-authorization either. It was payment upon stay, like usual. Case in point, on this trip with over 15 other stays, this is the only hotel that did this to us. Very disappointing, especially considering we're previous Travel Charme guests at their other locations. We even raved about our stay at Travel Charme Werfengweng. If this hotel does this to repeat guests, good luck if you are a first timer. We've put this hotel on our avoid list and will remove all references to and recommendations for this hotel in all of our travel guides.
