★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Neuer Hüttenwirt, daher Vorsicht mit älteren Bewertungen! Wir waren letzten Sommer dort und Ich weiß nicht, wo ich mit dem Lob angefangen soll: Endlich ein Hüttenteam, das es mit den 3G Nachweisen ernst nimmt. Die Lager sind gemütlich, die Decken riechen frisch. Es gibt kostenloses Trinkwasser. Das Team ist super freundlich, der Hüttenwirt kommt abends an jeden Tisch und bespricht mit einem die Pläne für den nächsten Tag. Essen und Getränke sind top, vor allem den Kaiserschmarren muss man gegessen haben.
Einzige Anregung: Der Sanitärbereich könnte eine Überholung vertragen.

 New landlord, so be careful with older reviews! We were there last summer and I don't know where to start with the praise: finally a cabin team that takes the 3G proofs seriously. The camps are cozy, the blankets smell fresh. There is free drinking water. The team is super friendly, the innkeeper comes to every table in the evening and discusses the plans for the next day with you. Food and drinks are great, especially the Kaiserschmarren you have to have eaten.
Only suggestion: the sanitary area could do with an overhaul.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ So many variations of Kaiserschmarrn, took the one with chocolate sauce which I regretted. Were very glad to reach the hut after a day of rain on the Berliner Höhenweg.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Today about half way to the Kasseler Hütte were only snow plains and the official path was no longer visible.
Together with many other people, we decided to return for safety.
We crossed some snow plains, but it became too steep and too deep.
Very sad to know that at the departure point and in the ‘Hütte’ itself they gave the green light.
Everything for the money, safety in second place in the Kasselerhütte.
