★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Gorgeous views from this hütte! Great food and very friendly staff. Comfortable rooms. Easy hike up from Ahornbahn. A must-see location when near Mayrhofen. I've been here twice now, first on my honeymoon, and recently with my family (with two little boys). Beware cowbells clanging most of the night...

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ After a 2,5 hour walk from the Ahorn cableway we reached the EdelHutte. It's an nice restaurant with normal prices and you get a fair amount of good food. Be aware that they don't have an ATM machine, so you really need cash to pay the restaurant bill.
(4 persons you need 40euro for a really nice lunch).
The landscape and views (and sometimes the snow) are breathtaking.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Absolutely perfect! The staff/owners are super friendly, the food fresh, local and tasty - just what I needed after a tough hike up to here!
They also have a shower available if you need one, and they were very kind to refill my bottle with fresh mountain water! ?????? zero plastic.

The walk to the hut was nice and fairly easy.

Warm atmosphere inside and huge wiener schnitzels.
In the entry hall, there's a nice collection of stuffed wild local animals like fox and marmot.
