★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Nichts besonderes. Altbackende Alm mit typischen Speisen.
Leider war es bei unseren Aufenthalt sehr voll und die Bedienung hatte alle Hände voll zutun wodurch es zu längeren Wartezeiten kam.
 Nothing special. Stale alpine pasture with typical dishes.
Unfortunately it was very crowded during our stay and the service had their hands full, which resulted in longer waiting times.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Nach der Wanderung um den Stausee, teilten wir uns im Stillupperhaus einen Brotzeitteller . Er war reichlich und mit guten Produkten belegt.
Netter Service, jedoch bei hohem Wanderer- und Radfahreraufkommen, etwas Wartezeit für einen freien Tisch.
After the hike around the reservoir, we shared a snack plate in the Stillupperhaus. It was plentiful and filled with good products.
Nice service, but with a high number of hikers and cyclists, a little waiting time for a free table.

Der Hof ist vorbildlich geführt ( Sauberkeit und top gepflegt).Die Zimmer und das Ferienhaus sind liebevoll eingerichtet und von der Gastgeberin ( Alexandra) dekoriert. Das Essen ist ausgezeinet und großzügig portioniert. Die Bedienung ist sehr bemüht, und auch zu den Stoßzeiten freundlich und flexibel. Ich kann das Stillupperhaus nur weiterempfehlen, egal ob Sie nur einen Stopp zum Essen machen ( von der Terrasse aus das herliche Panorama genießt ) oder einige Urlaubstage verbringen.

The Stillupperhaus is located on the managed alpine pasture. The farm is run in an exemplary manner (cleanliness and very well maintained). The rooms and the holiday home are lovingly furnished and decorated by the hostess (Alexandra). The food is razor-sharp and generously portioned. The service is very hard-working, and friendly and flexible even at peak times. I can only recommend the Stillupperhaus, regardless of whether you are just stopping for a meal (enjoying the wonderful panorama from the terrace) or spending a few days on vacation.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Sehr gut bewirtet worden, Sehr lecker gegessen. Wir hatten hausgemachte Leberknödelsuppe und Kaiserschmarrn. Mhhh und ein Glas frische Milch.
Very well catered for, very tasty ate. We had homemade liver dumpling soup and Kaiserschmarrn. Mhhh and a glass of fresh milk.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Really MUST visit this valley. Take bus from Mayerhofen to top of valley and walk back to pick-up point. Hugely worthwhile. Great restaurant. Very welcoming. Try the sour cream!
