★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Decided to rent some powder skis after St. Anton got a nice amount of snow during our trip. The Great Valluga was conveniently located on the way to the lifts so decided to give them a try.
They had a good selection of skis and the rates were reasonable and inline with what other stores were charging. The staff was very friendly, answered questions, and I enjoyed talking with them about the resort, gear, and skiing in general. Happy to recommend them for any others considering rentals or getting some gear.
Should add I also had my regular skis serviced here while trying the rentals. They can tune the edges to pretty exact specifications and I almost always feel I get a better tune in the EU than the US. This time was the exception and I felt the edges were a little dull. I talked with the staff after (since I had to retrieve my shoes) and they said they have a more aggressive tune but they could do but it wasn't worth it as I only had another day left on my trip. I had the edges redone in the US when I returned as my local store has been doing a great job recently.
