O	Ortwin Morgenstern on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Tolle Lage direkt an der Piste. Toller Skiraum mit Spints für jedes Zimmer. Sehr freundliches Personal. Gute Küche, tolles Buffet am Abend. Preis Leistung sehr gut. Great location right on the slopes. Great ski storage with spints for each room. Very friendly staff. Good kitchen, great buffet in the evening. Price / offer: Very good.
P	Perseverence Opportunity on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Ich bin jetzt zum dritten Mal im Sporthotel Ideal, 2018 (2x) zuletzt nach Coronabedingter Abwesenheit. Das Hotel hat alles was ich für einen fantastischen Skiurlaub brauche. Zuerst die Lage; ich finde es sehr angenehm dass es direkt neben der Talabfahrt von Hochgurgl liegt; dann kann man ganz bequem morgens abfahren und im Einkehrschwung nach Hause am Nachmittag. Erspart einem das Skier schleppen. Der Skikeller bietet genug Platz und pro Hotelzimmer einen verschließbaren Spind für die Ausrüstung; man muss bei den teuren Sachen also wenig Angst haben dass diese geklaut werden oder einfach wegkommen. Über die Zimmer kann ich nur in der Kategorie „Gletscherblick“ berichten. Ich hatte nie Probleme mit der Sauberkeit, sie sind groß genug für zwei Personen und die Betten sind bequem. Ich werte die Zimmer nicht so sehr da ich mich die meiste Zeit nicht in ihnen aufhalte. Für ein 3-Sterne Hotel sind sie allemal sehr gut. Der gemeinsam benutzte Raum ist sehr geschmackvoll und modern eingerichtet; insbesondere die Bar lädt zum verweilen ein, mit einem tollen Ausblick auf die gegenüberliegende Talseite. Das Kaminfeuer ist ebenfalls sehr gemütlich. Der Wellnessbereich geht für ein 3-Sterne Hotel absolut in Ordnung. 1 Schwitzsauna, mehrere weitere kleine Saunen und ein Pool bieten genug Abwechslung. Das beste kommt zum Schluss und das ist die Küche! Ich habe selten so gut gegessen wie im Ideal. Die Qualität des Essens ist wirklich ausgezeichnet, es gibt mehrere Optionen am Abend; das Salatbuffet ist reichhaltig. Es ist auch abwechslungsreich; nicht nur Tiroler Küche sondern auch Abwandlungen; dabei immer lecker. Frühstück am morgen ebenfalls top. Und das Kuchenbuffet am Nachmittag ist genau dass was man braucht nach einem langen Skitag. Über das Skigebiet will ich nicht zu viele Worte verlieren; es bietet genug Abwechslung für alle Fahrer von geübt bis zum Anfänger und ist dabei sehr schneesicher und modern ausgestattet. Ich kann das Ideal nur für alle empfehlen die sich einen entspannten Skiurlaub wünschen; für Apres-Ski sollte man aber lieber nach Sölden. I am now at the Sporthotel Ideal for the third time, in 2018 (2x) most recently after a corona-related absence. The hotel has everything I need for a fantastic ski holiday. First the location; I find it very pleasant that it is right next to the Hochgurgl valley run; then you can easily leave in the morning and take a break for a stop back home in the afternoon. Saves you having to drag your skis. The ski cellar offers enough space and a lockable locker for equipment per hotel room; So you don't have to worry about expensive things that they will be stolen or simply get lost. I can only report on the rooms in the “Glacier View” category. I've never had cleanliness issues, they are big enough for two people and the beds are comfortable. I don't value the rooms that much because I don't stay in them most of the time. For a 3-star hotel they are always very good. The shared room is very tastefully and modernly furnished; The bar in particular invites you to linger, with a great view of the opposite side of the valley. The log fire is also very cozy. The wellness area is absolutely fine for a 3-star hotel. 1 sweat sauna, several other small saunas and a pool offer enough variety. The best comes last and that is the kitchen! I have seldom eaten as well as ideally. The quality of the food is really excellent, there are several options in the evening; the salad buffet is plentiful. It's varied too; not only Tyrolean cuisine but also variations; always delicious. Breakfast in the morning also great. And the cake buffet in the afternoon is exactly what you need after a long day of skiing. I don't want to say too many words about the ski area; it offers enough variety for all riders from experienced to beginners and is very snow-sure and modern equipped. I can only recommend the ideal for everyone who wants a relaxing ski holiday; but for après-ski you should go to Sölden.

Great hotel in a perfect location right on the slopes. The food was very good and the atmosphere was very pleasant. Can warmly recommend!

Alles auf höchstem Niveau, tollesHotel, tolles Essen,top Service, super nettes und aufmerksames Personal und sehr sympathische Betreiber! Wir kommen wieder! Vielen Dank für eine super Woche! After a long wait caused by constant lockdown, it finally worked! And the wait was worth it! Everything at the highest level, great hotel, great food, great service, super nice and attentive staff and very friendly operators! We will be back! Thank you for a great week!

If you value great service, a wonderful ambience, friendliness, cleanliness, delicious food and a perfect location, then your vacation here is IDEAL!

And then there's the fabolous Hochgurgl Obergurgl ski domain and "on top" of everything is the Top Mountain Star. wow, simply wow.
