★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I don't understand the low score reviews. We had a good meal, not great but very good. Service excellent, view phenomenal, prices reasonable. Anyone saying it's expensive, they haven't eaten out in Austria.

We can sit down and sip the coffee while enjoying the scenery and the breathtaking view of the lake area.
Service is fast and the crew polite. We really enjoyed our moments here.
Never miss this place if you visit the hallstat.

The food is traditional Austrian, very tasty and filling. Service was prompt and polite but the highlight that overwhelms everything else is the view! I can't imagine a more exquisite place to eat lunch and relax with a glass of wine of Beer.it is the best place to enjoy a meal after the visit of the salt mine

Food was good
Beer was ice cold and so refreshing
Service was quick, friendly and helpful
We took the funicular train up and walked to the salt mines. This restaurant was a lovely treat on the way back down
