When we first arrived we were delighted with the hotel and the location. The check in team were really helpful and friendly. The room was satisfactory and the bar area really warm and welcoming. Then came our first dinner where a couple of members of the hotel team made us feel less than welcome particularly with our 7 year old daughter. Whilst most of the hotel team were great, there were two members of the restaurant staff who physcially ignored us quite deliberately and then spoke to us in a very rude fashion that upset the family. I made a compaint to one of the reception team who said she agreed and that they could be like that as they were Hungarian!! An unsatisfactory response in terms of the resolution but also I felt blaming their country of origin was completely unacceptable and bordering on something more sinister. It was quite apparent that their behaviour was driven because we had children at the table, irrespective of the fact that they were behaving well and we were eating early. On the next evening we were in the bar and ordered a round of drinks that we put onto the room. The bar team had no problem with this and we had done that the night before and subsequently had paid the tab at the end of the evening, even though normally we might not do that until check out in the many hotels we have stayed at around the world. I had temporarily left the bar and the lady who I had spoken to the previous evening (Anna or Annie) approached my wife in a very aggressvie way to demand payment of the bill, pointing her finger into her face and verbally abusing her. It was at this point that my wife, understandbly upset, called me and I immediately returned. This was compounded by the fact that my daughter saw and heard all of this and was in a distressed state. I obviously went on to make a complaint but the hotel manager did nothing, there wasn't even an apology offered at any point, quite the opposite and it was obvious that he wasn't listening to our issue or trying to resolve it. I have never experienced anything quite like this over may years of travel.

The hotel is beautiful and very well located! Diana, Alexandra and Vanessa were superb and helps us a lot during our stay! There is a DM few meters to the right of the hotel and almost everything is walking distance from the hotel. We really enjoyed our stay and wish to come back.

First the good bits, there are some. The bar is a nice area and most of the staff were friendly. Now for the bad. We went with a large group with 11 adults and 9 kids between 5 and 9 years old. We booked half board as it would be convenient. The first night we went in the lady (Anna/Annie) told us because there were so many children they would have one choice, chicken nuggets and chips. She also said there were no electronic devices allowed. These two bits of news were delivered in a rude and unapologetic manner. We didn't want to get off to a bad start so went along with this. The next day we were approached by this lady and told there had been a complaint from one of the guests that our children were too loud. I asked if she thought the same and was told she didn't agree but asked us to keep them quiet. Clearly, we were not happy about this but at dinner tucked them away in a corner for another round of chicken nuggets and chips and constantly shushed them to be quiet. The next day we were approached again to say there had been more complaints about noisy children. We, therefore, decided to eat elsewhere that evening and had a fabulous meal with amazing service so when we got back I spoke with the lady concerned and said we'd like to cancel the half board as we clearly weren't welcome. This was all done in a cordial manner and we assumed that would be the end of it. The men in the group then went to watch the football down the road and left the ladies and children in the bar, all of the children on iPads, earphones on settled on some settees. We then got a phone call to return as she had approached one of the Mum's in front of the children and said that she was disgusting and so were the children. This was in front of the kids which is the thing that I am most horrified at as they kept on asking why they were disgusting. The manager the next day was completely unhelpful and nonchalant about the whole thing and safe to say the remainder of the week was both awkward and unpleasant. We travel as a group to many places around the world and in the UK and have never experienced anything like it. And given we had two interconnecting rooms this was a €6,000 spend for a week. I'd be shocked if I got that level of poor, rude and arrogant service in a 1-star hotel. From somewhere like this, it is beyond comprehension. If you've got kids I'd look elsewhere as this is not a family-friendly hotel.

Basic hotel, a bit outdated. Service is basic. No burning candles on the table at Christmas, no daily replacement of bathroom amenities. No name check when asking for the room key. No safe in the room available. Though the breakfast is good lots of choices.

Lovely hotel set in the centre of the Kitzbühel just a few hundred feet from the old town. Free parking either out the back or in the underground car park. Friendly staff and an excellent breakfast! Great bar area too. The only reason for 4 stars not 5 was the room service which was not up to the high standards set throughout the rest of the hotel. For example, no spare toilet roll and no tidying of the room.

This is an excellent hotel. The staff are super friendly, the room was very nice, the breakfast excellent and, even though we were only staying for one night, we could leave our luggage at reception and then come back to pick it up and take a shower in the spa area after we'd finished skiing and before taking the train home. The bar is also very nice, more like a comfy living room than a regular bar.

The rooms are in the traditional Austrian style with a lot of wood. The rooms are quite except the doors, people in the corridor can easily be heard. Good breakfast buffet. Very good location in the main street, only minutes away from the restaurants, railway station and town centre.

Lovely place. Comfy rooms, good bar, tremendous breakfast, friendly staff, reasonable prices. Have stayed here 4 times and will come again. This is the view at sundown from my (not especially pricey) room.
