★ ★ ★ ★ ★ It was nice overall. The service was very good. Friendly staff. The room was clean and nice overall. Maybe a bit too small but perfectly manageable. A spider crawled over my bed but not a big deal for me. The breakfast was very good too, no essential was left out, decent selection. Would recommend.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Such a beautiful hotel everything you would expect from a mountainous Austrian hotel! Very cozy rooms great views. It is in the middle of a beautiful town. The mattresses could be better but that’s not a big issue.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Lovely hotel in Kitzbühel. Excellent hospitality with friendly and very helpful front desk staff, nice breakfast service and light snacks after skiing. Also has a small bar for drinks in the evening but we did not use that. Sure would love to stay here the rest of a week. And would come back for sure

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Pros: It wasn't a large room, but the high ceiling compensated it making it feel like a spacious one. Excellent breakfast buffet--there were plenty of food to choose from and plenty of it. I thought it was very interesting that they had boil-your-own-eggs station with boiling water and metal ladle for eggs. The tables were marked with how many people would seat for your convenience. Free wifi is always welcomed.
Cons: there's no in-house restaurant, but the bar attracts crowd since there may not too much to do in this town. It was rather laud in to the late night because of this, and our room was not too far from the bar on the same floor (Ground floor). Overnight parking costs you 5€ extra. Oh well, what can you do if you drive to get there?
It was overall very good one-night stay here. The town of Kitzbühl, a small town in the Alps to the east of Innsbruck and belongs to the state of Tyrol in western Austria, is known for it's expensive taste. The elegant winter sports resort is known for its annual Hahnenkamm race (downhill ski racing). Exclusive shops and cafes can be found along the streets of the medieval town center.
We found a very reasonable pension for 125€/night.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This family run inn was incredible in every way. Johannes and his family did everything they could to make our stay perfect, from allowing a very early check in, late check out, an extra day at the last minute when it snowed, dinner reservations, room upgrade, and amazing (included) breakfasts and aprés in a cosy setting. Our room wasn’t large, but it was nicely appointed, with a small balcony, great view and even a bathtub. It was big enough for 2 adults, our luggage and skis. The inn’s position is perfect for walking to lifts, shops, restaurants, and sightseeing. Parking was only €5/night, it would have been a lot more at the nearby public car park! Drinks were affordable. The price of the room could not be beat. There was good storage for the skis. The decor was homey and inviting and so well done. We really enjoyed getting to know Johannes and hear about some history of the inn and the famous chamois. We will absolutely go out of our way to stay at the Gamshof next time we are in Austria. This was a perfect way to start our European Ski/Snowboard Trip.
