I	Ian Hawkins on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Very nice hotel with great service and spacious rooms. The room and hotel in general is a bit dated but the bathroom was clean and acceptably modern. The included breakfast is very good value. The best part is the central location.

The room layout made it difficult to watch the tv in any comfort. It had a very small bathroom. On the upside it was very central making easy walking distance to the parts of Vienna we wanted to visit.

The bed was comfy but the furniture was old and the wallpaper was peeling in places. Didn't help that we were there in a heatwave and there was no aircon! Still, the free coffee machine in the foyer was great!
L	Loni Austin on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The four star label at this hotel seems very generous. The hotel is very dated. Our rug looked dirty and was very stained. (I kept my shoes on.) The shower had no water pressure and fluctuated between warm and cold. The bed was hard and the pillow was lumpy. The hotel faces a very busy street with constant noise (and with no AC, you need windows open in the summer). To top it off there was construction down the street so we awoke at 7am every morning to asphalt being ripped up, banging and crazy construction noise. To top it off, for a "four star" hotel, the hospitality was sorely missing. The man at the front desk had no information to share on opening hours for major attractions (due to the summer break many Web sites didn't have information on July openings). He was also unfriendly. There is no one with concierge like services at the hotel, so don't expect to have any unanswered questions about your stay in Vienna answered upon arrival. (He is quick to sell you tickets to touristy things like Hop On, Hop off bus and Mozart concerts.)

The rooms are old and in need of an update but clean and presentable, the beds were surprisingly very comfortable. Perfect for a city break where you just need a base and a good bed.
