Auf dem Weg kann man Murmeltiere und Gämse beobachten werden. Very nice hut that can be reached in many ways. Walk from the Kolbreinsperre about 2 hours. Prices are moderate. Good home cooking. Marmots and chamois can be seen along the way.
K	Katze Boehm on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Ich möchte einen ganz lieben Dank an die liebe Hüttenwirtin aussprechen ..Es war ein toller Aufenthalt mit sehr viel Gastfreundschaft. Sicher komme ich wieder. Die Hütte an sich ist in guten 2 Stunden ohne starken Anstieg zu erreichen und bietet einen guten Ausgangspunkt um den den Ankogel oder auch die Hoachalspitz zu erreichen.. Auch ein Ünergang in die niederen Tauern ist möglich. Preislich ist die Hütte sehr ausgeglichen. Geschmacklich top. I would like to express a very big thank you to the dear hut landlady .. It was a great stay with a lot of hospitality. I'll be back for sure. The hut itself can be reached in a good 2 hours without a steep climb and offers a good starting point to reach the Ankogel or the Hoachalspitz. A crossing into the lower Tauern is also possible. In terms of price, the hut is very balanced. Great taste.

Wer das Mountainbike mitnimmt spart sich die ca. 7km Fußmarsch. Sehr freundliche und lustige Hüttenwirtin. Auch kulinarisch ist die Osnabrückerhütte ein Highlight. Frühstück (incl. Müsli und Nutella) bis hin zum Schweinsbraten und Topfenstrudel - alles Top!! Die warme Dusche gibts für 3 Euro. Sowohl Zimmer als auch Bettenlager stehen zur Verfügung. Zimmerreservierung empfiehlt sich in der Haupsaison. Genialer Ausgangspunkt für die umliegenden 3000er. Kommen sicher wieder!! Quaint hut at the end of the Maltatal. The hut is very easy and simple to reach from the Kölnbreinsperre. If you take a mountain bike with you, you save the approx. 7km walk. Very friendly and funny hut landlady. The Osnabrückerhütte is also a culinary highlight. Breakfast (including muesli and Nutella) to roast pork and curd cheese strudel - everything was great! The warm shower is available for 3 euros. Both rooms and beds are available. It is advisable to reserve a room in the main season. A great starting point for the surrounding 3000 m peaks. Will definitely come again !!

Mein Schatz hat sich einen Topfenstrudel mit Schlag gegönnt und Ich Mir ein Bier. Der Gastgarten lädt ein zum Verweilen mit einem atemberaubend schönen Anblick auf den Gletscher und die ebenso schöne Landschaft darum herum. Der Service war sehr freundlich und ein Besuch ist jeder Person nur ans Herz zu legen. The hike from the Hotel Malta to the Osnabrücker Hütte is characterized by unique views and wonderful nature. My sweetheart has treated himself to a curd cheese strudel and I have a beer. The garden invites you to linger with a breathtakingly beautiful view of the glacier and the equally beautiful landscape around it. The service was very friendly and every person is highly recommended to visit.

K	Kyle Mika on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Very beautiful area. Didnt get to stay there, but would come back. Its just far enough away from the dam that gives it some comfort too. Make sure to check weather before hiking there, or else you'll be walking in complete mud.
