I lived here for one year. I wouldn´t recommend anybody to live here. The only positive thing is that the rooms are actually nice and that the U2 is right infront of milestone. But 590 per month is way to much for such a small room one really could just rent a own flat for this. Also it´s NOT all inclusive you still got to pay 3 euro for washming machine. The guys working there are REALLY unfriendly. Also a lot of the guys living there are huge dicks, piss in the elevator or even vomit in the floos is not rare. Whe someone is having a party in the party room they are extremly loud and it´s impossible to sleep. After you moved out you need to wait 2 months for your deposit.

I live here already 3 months and I think this place is amazing. In my opinion theres no better student living community than this. The room is about 24m² and its more than enough! You have your own kitchen place and Bathroom, so you dont have to share with anyone. Theres so many inhouse services, for example: Washing Lounge, Study room, Fitness studio(by the way its free of charge), free wifi in Lobby, ROOF TOP terrace and Party room. The most I like about this place is location. U bahn is right in front of outside doors, with U2 is every University easy reachable. Prater Park is behind the building. Supermarkt is just 150meters walk. The district is very quiet and calm. So in conclusion I highly recommend this place to evereyone.

very disappointed. for a modern sleek outside, the management itself is a bit disorganized. I immediately knew that I needed to move out. Students are a bit rowdy and destroy the lobby with littered beer bottles and broken chairs. Some students smoke in the lobby despite a "strict" rule to smoke outside entered the apartment for the first time and nothing was in perfect condition. pans were scratched up and peeling. pillows were stained and extremely flat. it was as if they did not check the apartment when the previous tenant moved out. When I moved out, they expected the apartment to be in the perfect condition that it wasn't when I first came in. They said that you did not have to clean when you moved out of the apartment, and then deducted for the cleaning fees. The prices is EXTREMELY expensive for vienna. FYI a normal shared flat is 350 as the base level in the city center. I HIGHLY RECOMEND TO FIND SOMEWHERE ELSE! Management takes advantage of the naivety of international students.

I lived here for 2 years. I must say it is a bit expensive, but to be honest the conditions are very very good. 24 square meters are more than enough...prater park and the economics university can be reached in 5 minutes... and the best thing is that the metro station is practically integrated in the building. (Max 1,5 minutes) Not to forget are the large gym and the roof top teracce with the roof top party room. Best regards

Milestone is one of the best student residences in Vienna! Excellent location 1 min away from U2 line, perfect apartment equipment, amazing service and nice people from all over the world! For a very reasonable price! I am very content with the dorm and will miss it a lot...

My rate is two stars for Milestone Student Dorm in Vienna after i lived 2 years there. Explanation: Pros: 1. The lobby is very useful if you want or study or to meet new people or if you want to relax. 2. The gym is a useful facility for the people, who do sports because is for free. 3. The location is great- the underground is directly next to the building(Milestone located to Messe -Prater.) Cons: 1. The monthly rent is way too much and it increases constantly year by year. (currently on 669 EUROS)- for small rooms 2. Check out list for the room, before you leave: be prepared. They charge for every small thing, even it is normal to happen, because you use everyday the room. Even if the walls are TOTALLY clean, they ask for money for paintings. 3. Milestone team is not as friendly as it is said. At least people, who are behind the most important positions( exception is the guy, who works in Milestone's reception in Nordportalstraße 2/ Messe Prater- he is really polite)- they don't reply directly to the messages/ emails. Or when you call to the phone numbers, which are given for contacting, they do not know how to solve your problems- service quality= too bad. 4. You will not get the whole amount of the deposit back, because of the high charges they do in the rooms (as i said before) 5. You may not even get your deposit back, after you moved out and you may pay also extra. Maybe you will receive an email, in which will be written that you have never payed a deposit there.. Although the proves of all monthly payments and extra fees and the explanations and the emails with the head manager, you don't get an answer, for weeks-even if you keep emailing them- Obviously, when it is for giving money to the company, you get a quick answer- or they email you until they will get the money, when it is for getting back your OWN money they turn a blind eye. I had good time for two years there. but at the end i turned up so disappointed.

Rent is high but you get many benefits. Especially in the last few months a lot of renovations (gym, lobby) have been made. The new table tennis is fun.

I've lived in MILESTONE Vienna Prater for four months (Sep-Dec), and overall really enjoyed my experience! I highly recommend MILESTONE for a short stay, although I recommend anyone looking for a more permanent home to look further. Pros: The room was very quiet and clean and had all the facilities I needed, including a great view of the Prater and the Wienerwald in the distance. Location is great, U2 right outside your home and Praterstern train station (U1, U2, S-Bahn, regional trains) just a short 10 minute walk away. Center is about 10-15 minutes by bike, infrastructure is good. The building has adequate bicycle parking, although the outside gate is a bit of a hassle. The building has its own gym, which I did not use but is nice to have. The lobby and party room are also quite nice. Laundry is not included in the rent, but the building offers enough machines and dryers for normal (perhaps a tad high, do not know the prices in Vienna) launderette prices. Monthly cleaning is included in the rent, which is nice. Cons: Vienna is a relatively cheap city as far as rents go, so although I'd recommend MILESTONE for a short stay, if you need permanent accommodation I'd look further as I think you can get more for the same price. The rooms, though adequate, are designed for 1 person (e.g. bathroom door and shower window are transparent) and therefore it's quite uncomfortable to receive guests. You also have to register any overnight guests. Note that kitchen (pots, pans, utensils, etc) and bedroom supplies (bedsheets, pillowcase) are not included, so bring your own or be prepared to pay for MILESTONE's starter packs or go to IKEA on your first day. The people who checked my apartment for the deposit at check-in and check-out did not speak English. Luckily I speak German, but if you don't, keep your phrasebook handy so you can explain any issues that come up, which is especially necessary during check-out. You probably won't get your entire deposit back! Either they find something minor (repainting walls seems to be a common), and if they don't, you have to pay a €25 administration fee.
