These people want you to pay the full amount in advance. But if a problem comes up and you want to negotiate the reservation directly with them (other reservation dates, other occupants or another solution) they never answer.
Even a cancellation fee is not negotiable. In my case, I proposed a cancellation fee of 70%, but they just never reply to direct messages!
Only after the official cancellation through my booking agency I received an indirect message (through my booking agency) in which they blame me that I was too late. Quite shameful after all my unanswered direct messages several weeks in advance.
So, for me, holiday 100% lost, money 100% lost. For these people I was just a cash machine.
