★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Habe mein Handy zur Reparatur am 3. Jan 22 gebracht. Heute am 13. Jan. bekommen. Gleich neu installiert ob der Fehler behoben wurde. Wieder der selbe Fehler. Bin voll enttäuscht vom Reparaturservice. Wieder dort gelassen zur neuerlichen Reparatur. Hoffentlich wird das keine unendliche Geschichte
 Brought my phone in for repairs on 3 Jan 22. Received today Jan 13th. Immediately reinstalled if the error was fixed. Same error again. I am very disappointed in the repair service. Left there again for renewed repair. Hopefully this won't be a never ending story

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Ich war heute bei Media Markt, um mich bezüglich einer Kaffeemaschine beraten zu lassen. Die Beratung war 12 von 10. Ich habe die Mitarbeiterin gefühlt durchlöchert, aber sie wusste über jede Kleinigkeit ganz genau Bescheid. Spitzen Beratung, so etwas erlebt man selten. Die Mitarbeiterin war so gut, freundlich, überzeugend und einfach ganz große Klasse, dass ich heute unbedingt direkt bei ihr kaufen wollte! (Und auch gemacht habe) Diesen Media Markt kann ich sehr weiterempfehlen und ich werde, wenn ich wieder etwas benötige, sicher wieder hierhin gehen.
I went to Media Markt today for advice on a coffee machine. The advice was 12 out of 10. I felt like the employee was riddled with holes, but she was very knowledgeable about every little thing. Top advice, something you rarely experience. The employee was so good, friendly, convincing and simply great that I absolutely wanted to buy directly from her today! (And did) I can highly recommend this Media Markt and I will definitely go back if I need anything again.

I came here to buy a few simple items for my new monitor, like a DVI-HDMI cable.
Only to find that the cheapest one is over 20€ with some up to 46€! What the hell?
Meanwhile you can get one on Amazon for 6€... and I really do not think the ones at Media Markt are much better quality. Seems like a big company that's just ripping off customers.
Second complaint: I came back the next day to return two which which didn't work for me.
First I went to the help desk and the lady told me I could do the return with her. She looked at my receipt and gave me a piece of paper. I would have expected to get my money back there, but no... had to go to another person in the store. I assumed the person at the Kasse would be enough, so went there. She then told me I need to go to another 'Kollege'. I went to the nearest station, surprise, this guy can't help me either, but he takes me to where I need to go (a tiny desk in one corner of the building). I wait for 10 minutes until someone is free to help me there. He processes the return paperwork, but then has to search around the store for some manager to sign it, with me following behind him. Finally once we have the signiture, I have to take the new paper to the cash register to get the money back on my card.
What a complicated mess and bad customer experience! Why not handle it all at the help desk? Not a happy customer ?

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Media Markt in PlusCity is a huge place for shopping electronic and electrical appliances and devices. Rates are a bit expensive than normal shop but here you can find multiple varieties of a product. Quality of equipments are excellent. The whole area are bustling specially at Saturday.
