★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Stay at the hotel was average and the food in the resteraunt was generally below average, the food taken 1 hour 30 one night to come out and when it came it was below avarage then the next night we ordered a pizza for the room and it was disgusting with incorrect toppings and we were over charged by 10 euro, while the chef was walking around the open kitchen eating a sandwich, terrible service would not come back.
The resteraunts near by are far greater quality of food and service
The pizza was highlighted and the staff shut down the problem in a aggressive manor I could not be bothered to argue with.
The food was a little over 1 hours 30 mins and a lot of food kept going back to the kitchen for being the wrong order or cold. This was also highlighted to the server just shrugging his shoulders like he didn’t care, no apologies were given. This in my opinion is incredibly unprofessional and not they way to provide any sort of service

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Hotel Matteo is a modern hotel with good atmosphere and very nice rooms. Rooms are pretty large with a comfortable double bed and modern shower with lot of space in it. Restaurant and bar Paularei is a great one. Excellent atmosphere and delicious food and it is open after midnight. The waiters are very welcomed and nice and friendly.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Great hotel pity we always had to go out for evening meals. Restaurant did not give priority to hotel guests. Closer to ski slopes than we thought. Easy walk both to and from gondola.
