★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Wiener Schokoladekonig entailed me to taste the majority of their products before purchasing the chocolates. Being a fan of the black chocolate the owner started to talk of the making process taht work out that jewels eatable.The finest quality of the chocolate, their smell, have had made me a breathtaking experience.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I brought some chocolates for my colleagues and they loved it. The chocolates are bit expensive but they are delicious and definitely much better than what you get in ordinary stores in Vienna or at duty free shops on the airport.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Cutest little chocolate shop in the heart of the 1st district. Hand crafted chocolate masterpieces that taste delicious. In the winter season they make the best Maroni Hearts which taste absolutely amazing and my favorite thing here are the handmade Mozart Kugeln!! I will ride my bike 30 minutes just to come here for some chocolate. The staff is amazing and super friendly. Always enjoy the time I spend here. :)

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Probably the best chocolate confectionery in Vienna. Extraordinary quality in taste and looks. Everything is made by themselfs. Also, the "Maroniherz" (chestnut hearts) are the best in town, no contest. Leschanz's are moist and creamy, full of pure aroma and with a very delicate ultra-thin chocolate crunch. The rest of the delicacies is also fabulous. We go there regularly. You can even compose your own little box with chocolates.
And what beautiful charming old world store! It's the original interior that has been here for over hundred years, only not for the delicate chocolate products but for buttons, the famous Viennese king of buttons "Knopf König", hence the name "Leschanz - Chocolate King". You can even buy some of the original buttons but made out of chocolate!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Great chocolate, friendly people. Not inexpensive, but that is expensive. For my taste, there is too much focus on pralines with alcohol, which I don't love, but maybe that's just me. I would definitely visit again.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Leschanz is a shop with state of the art chocolate products. It very difficult to choose because all bonbons looks marvellous. We have chosen an elegant box with 16 delicious bonbons. Staff is very friendly. I do not know in Wien another chocolatery like Leschanz . We'll be back.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Not that tasty and natural anymore...
Being a returning customer, I used to buy chocolate here every time I was in Vienna. It used to be my favorite chocolate producer here as the quality was excellent and constant.
This time I am very disappointed as I found taste of some products different and strange. For example, the marzipan has no more classic taste, it leaves bitterness in the mouth. Of course it made me looking at the ingredients where apart from almonds and sugar they started adding invertin. I am still confused is it a medicine of sugar substitute.
It is so sad that the producer decided to change their recipes for cost cutting reasons probably. I feel offended as a customer.
I hope and wish that the owners and managers of Leschanz will take customers reviews into account and will get back to traditional recipes and would never change it again. I don't mind if you increase prices.
