★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Lassingfall and Ötschergraben are beautiful, the hiking trail from Wienerbruck to Erlaufklause takes you about 3 hours (easy pace). Take the train back from Erlaufklause.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Beautiful place for a hike, can get a little busy on weekends. Very well signposted trails and great waterfalls along the way. Combi ticket for park and train (7 mins back to base) for 6EUR.

Food at the nautrepark entrance was pretty good too.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ My most beautiful hike in Austria within 2:30 driving from Vienna. It is absolutely worth it. the walk, the views, the river, the mountains can all be postcards! There is a little restaurant with a very nice view that offers basic food and drinks but if you want to enjoy the view with a cold beer or a hot coffee, this is the place. The hike can be challenging by moment but we managed just fine with the kids in our backpacks and carry on. There are areas you can stop and make a picnic by the water, refresh yourself and let the kids run around! I absolutely recommend it. With kids, with animals, alone or even in group
