Very nice little exhibition on nature and local animals. Really worth seeing, listening and experiencing.

Very interesting and extensive museum, which explains the history and everyday life in the region a long time ago. The tour is particularly recommended! Also the new extension in the attic - an alpine landscape with hut and co is very detailed and beautifully designed

Рассказана история организации дома, праздников, еды, стирка, детские вещи и кроватки, хранение продуктов. Очень рекомендую к посещению.
A wonderful museum. Shows the history of these places. Under the roof in the attic there is a real village house of a summer shepherd. The story of the founding of mariacelller is told. The story of home organization, holidays, food, laundry, baby clothes and cribs, food storage is told. Highly recommend to visit.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Ein wirklich sehenswertes Museum, mit vielen Schauräumen, die die Geschichte in und um Mariazell dokumentieren. Alten Gebrauchsgegenständen, altem Brauchtum, altem Handwerk, bäuerlichem Leben wird durch die lebhaften Schilderungen der einheimischen FührerInnen Leben eingehaucht. Danke an Anneliese Schweighofer, die mit ihren interessanten Erzählungen und persönlichen Schilderungen die Führung sehr kurzweilig gestaltete. Viele der Schauräume sind in modernstem Ausstellungsdesign gestaltet und die vielen interaktiven Stationen sind toll gemacht. Wir haben in 2 Stunden nur 2 von 5 Ebenen des Hauses angeschaut. Da gibts noch viel zu erkunden. Wir kommen sicher wieder!
A really worth seeing museum, with many showrooms that document the history in and around Mariazell. Old everyday objects, old customs, old handicrafts, peasant life is breathed into life by the lively descriptions of the local guides. Thanks to Anneliese Schweighofer, who made the tour very entertaining with her interesting stories and personal descriptions. Many of the showrooms are designed in the most modern exhibition design and the many interactive stations are great. We only looked at 2 of the 5 levels of the house in 2 hours. There is still a lot to explore. We will be back for sure!
