Although not an easy walk with 400 stairs but the IT is worth it

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ beautiful, wild nature, we came on a rainy day, which only improved the impression, I advise you to start the journey from the city itself, there is a trail to the beginning of the canyon, all together for about an hour and a half

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We were lucky enough to be able to park in the closest carpark as the others were about 15 mins walk away, up the hillside! We paid our fee, collected our very fetching helmets and set off on the path.
The path was obviously well maintained and signposted and we meandered up the gorge, seeing waterfalls and crossing back and forth on wooden walkways. The engineering to build these structures was impressive in its own right. The walk took about an hour, maybe a little more with photo stops. The light this early was not ideal as the sun didn't really reach in to the gorge but at least we got a parking space!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Really interesting with some information regarding the discovery and management of the gorge. May be good to have se more information regarding the make up of the rocks, water temps etc. Has a good "climbers only" route which requires basic gear of course.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ An amazing hiking trail with a lot of water and beautiful nature all around. Excellent for kids and adults, you can do a long way or a shorter way. You need to keep your ticket in order to exit the place as well so dont throw it away.
