★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Una delle piu` famose località sciisitche del mondo. Io ci ho trascorso un week end con amici perché sede della più famosa e pericolosa gara di sci del mondo: la discesa libera sulla mitica pista Streif. E’ noto che la vittoria sulla Streif per uno sciatore rappresenta il massimo della carriera, più di un oro ai campionati del mondo oppure alle olimpiadi.
Abbiamo poi scoperto che Kitzbühel non è solo la Streif, ma è anche un bellissimo e sofisticato centro storico tipicamente tirolese che fa da cornice ad un comprensorio sciistico immenso, che offre quasi 200 chilometri di piste battute, con impianti all’avanguardia (è stata la prima volta che abbiamo utilizzato le seggiovie con le sedute riscaldate).
Imperdibile per gli appassinati di sci
One of the most famous ski resorts in the world. I spent a weekend there with friends because it was the site of the most famous and dangerous ski race in the world: the downhill on the legendary Streif slope. It is known that the victory on the Streif for a skier represents the maximum of his career, more than a gold at the world championships or at the Olympics.
We then discovered that Kitzbühel is not only the Streif, but it is also a beautiful and sophisticated typically Tyrolean old town that frames an immense ski area, which offers almost 200 kilometers of groomed slopes, with state-of-the-art facilities (it was the first time we used the chairlifts with heated seats).
