★ ★ ★ ★ ★ After a long walk, it seemed a nice place for a coffee stop. And yes, coffee was great. As for the apple strudel: I tried better ones in Vienna. However, staff was friendly and helpful and I definitely enjoyed the overall atmosphere. The prices are OK. The overall bill was smth around 25 euros for 2 coffees, 1 tea and 3 strudels. BTW, the fact that they made an effort to understand my terrible German and didn't laugh at it was extra nice :-D

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Nice cafe behind the Hofburg. We had a coffee and cappuccino, I was surprised to be charged 50c extra for a small amount of milk, and the drinks were expensive, but it is in a prime spot. Friendly staff and nice environment. We'd go there again, perhaps for lunch.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Food was good, service was good, everything was fine until the end, where they gave us a different bill, same prices, different product names. The bill had been already payed in cash by someone else, an hour earlyer, who left a 7 euro tip on a 41 euro bill. Told us the taxes are not included in the menu prices and that the bill is with those 7 euros extra, so we should pay 48 euros and put a tip on top. We ended up paying 48 euros by card and they thanked us for the tip. It was very confusing and it was very upsetting once we figured out we were being screwed over. There was clear information on the menu that all taxes are included and this is Europe, Vienna. A 5% to 10% tip, if you want to give a tip. They saw we were not pleased and gave us back 2 euros, with apologies, still 1 euro short of a 10% only tip. You don't expect to be screwed over in an European city... Anyway. We got screwed over. Bad final experience.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Rude waiter and high prices for a very mediocre breakfast. The quality of the eggs was not it and we didn't have salt. No consideration for the clients. We won't come back.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Place is really loud! Came for chill sunday coffee, waiters are shouting to each other from 5m distance, constant noise from cuttlery in the bar. Really don't understand how someone could spend more than 5 minutes here.
