The Kaiserhof hotel was such a good hotel! Even though it has four stars, it should be a five star hotel. There is a pool, gym, cinema room ( used as a cinema on some days), ski room and a play room for kids with a TV and plenty of toys. The staff are very good and the rooms are very clean and modern, but still have a skiing atmosphere, there's even a radio built into the wall in the bathroom! Even though it is a ski in, ski out hotel, it feels very cosy on the inside. This is such an amazing hotel! Enjoy it!

We had a lovely time. The hotel is well kept, with friendly staff, clean and spacious rooms. You can't fault the location, just a few steps away from the main lift. The Buffet breakfast was good and when we made it back in time, they offer a mid afternoon buffet snack too. One thing to note, they have a lovely spa and it's well worth using after a day skiing. They also have an underground car park and we never had issues getting a space. We highly recommend this hotel! You won't be disappointed.

Wonderful traditional Austrian hotel situated close to the Kitzbühel centre and located in a perfect position for the slopes near Hahnenkamm ski lift.

The only person who was fluent in English was a younger receptionist. This is a problem that the entire service industry in Kitzbühel has, not only Kaiserhof hotel. However, a hotel should really do better. Other receptionists, waiters and waitresses speak very poor English. What they also lack is good organization, breakfast is a complete chaos. In theory there is a little podium where one of the staff should stand and take your room number and tell you where to sit, but 3 out 5 times there was no one there. The first time we waited for more than 5 minutes and since nobody showed up, so we just chose our own table. We weren't the only people who misguidedly waited for someone to show up and check their room number. In theory, you could have just walked in from the street and entered a breakfast area most of the times. The staff in general lacks training and seem inexperienced but the staff is not to blame, the hotel obviously lacks good management. There was also an incident where my father in law knocked down a beer in a sitting area in the lobby. A couple of days before, he hurt his shoulder in a skiing accident and was therefore only able to use his non-dominant arm. His shoulder is obviously hurt. We called one of the staff to help us clean the mess because there was a lot of beer and we didn't have enough handkerchiefs. One of them came, did not say a single word, did not respond to any of our questions, just angrily mopped up the mess and left. Similarly, a lot of the staff lacks any kind of charisma and is generally aloof. I don't know if this is because we are foreign and don't speak Austrian German or if they're like that with the locals as well. The pool is not as good as in the pictures, it's a lot smaller and much colder. But this is the problem that we encountered in other hotels as well, so it's not only Kaiserhof. The food is OK. The guy who makes you eggs for breakfast is great. The rooms are good, the cleaning service is good, and the guy that drives the car to the garage is good as well. I would also like to use this opportunity to warn you to stay away from a souvenir shop Kitzbüheler Ladl (Gänsbachgasse 1, near the church) since it's not possible to give them a review on Google. The store uses a really old cash register and the saleswoman is not very experienced when it comes to card payments. My payment went through and the money was taken from my account and I even double checked with my bank. But she wasn't sure that the payment went through because she had some problems with her machine so I left her my cellphone number and told her to call me if needed. She called a day later and said she didn't get any money at all. We asked her if we could pay with e-banking but she knew so little English that I don't think she knew what we wanted. She then threatened to call the police if we didn't come back to her store and pay her. I have notified my bank and gave them all the receipts and am waiting to see where the problem was. I understood her frustration as well and even felt a little sorry because of the complications - up until the point when she said something along the lines of "in Austria we just pick up our phone, call the police and they come." As opposed, I guess, to Croatia where we, poor Slavic barbarians, apparently don't have civilization and we can only use smoke signals to call the police?

Everything was amazing. I can't think of how this experience could have been better. The breakfast was the highlight for us, incredible omelets and many options. The staff was also exceptional!
