β β β β β Last summer we visited the beautiful hotel Gutjahr in Abtenau. Sorry we did not post this review earlier. We felt very welcome at arrival speaking to the enthausiastsic owner Marcus Gutjahr. After we settled we had a meeting about the hiking tour. The tour we booked in holland but was made personal at arrival considering weather condition, personal wishes, capabilities and preferences. There is nothing more beautifull than to wake up overviewing the mountains from one of the mountain huts! One day when I became ill Marcus and his hotel staff were very flexible in making all sorts of arrangements which in my opinion they really shouldnt have. But im very thankfull they did. The hotel has facilities for both active and relaxing acticities and is surrounded by mountains with very direct paths to the beautififul scenary and trails. Hotel staff is very capable, helpfull and enthusiastic. Thank you for an unforgettable vacation and love to see you all back someday!Β Recommandation: 10/10 easy!

β β β β β We were in this hotel for couple of days. I can only recomend this place. Really nice, clean room with view. Food is also on high level, breakfast is like for kings. Owner is kind, smiling person.

β β β β β The place is a charm. Great hospitality, great service. The hotel is beautiful, well designed, every little detail is taken car of. we love the place, and keep coming back for already 6 years now. The swimming pool is exceptionally moody, the sauna world is spacious, and have many saunas and facilities. Even a eparate room for tea, and drinks (free for guests). Parking is decent (small), ski room, heated boot storage, etc. A pleace to return for us. The staff is great, every request is attented, and delivered.

β β β β β First of all, the room was really spacious but old fashioned. It has only indoor pool. But the food and staff service is terrible. Dinner is only until 8pm. We stayed only one night there. It's a pity because the owner was very friendly and the hotel was clean. It could have been better.

Folks! I am very disappointed with the environment and service, the staff is totally unfriendly.
Bosnian women who theyβre the cleaning service are totally unacceptable, specially the way they treat at people, they yell and bang stuff while cleaning, assuming that theyβre hassled. ( THEY NEED TO LEARN HOW TO RESPECT! )

β β β β β The owner is unfriendly. We came back from a huttentour, and asked for a early check-in (1 hour early). Not possible, the owner got angry like we were asking something impossible. He even said βI donβt know what youβre even doing hereβ . Never happened to me before that people are so unhelpful and so unfriendly to their guests
