- refused to bring menu as it was in German (to which we do not speak but could easily decode...)
- very condescending
- insinuated we were stupid, thinking we are American (that is not our nationality)
- was incredibly rude throughout the payment process
- as we were leaving, stuck his middle finger up at us, denied this upon being called out.
Entirely atrocious and unprofessional behaviour, disappointing and childish for an adult.
Will follow through with management.

Dear god what a friendly and tasty place! Super friendly staff and on top off that AMAZING food!
Definitely coming back if we ever pass by, top experience! Don't hesitate, just go here next time you need food in this town ??

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ My girlfriend and I stayed for three nights at the Goldener Stern and had an absolutely wonderful experience.
It was very clear to us that the staff really put their hearts and souls in this business. The rooms are comfortable, clean and spacious and the hotel itself is very decorated and neat. The food - was amazing. Each evening the menu was different, and every dish was not only delicious but also creative and aesthetic - above and beyond most restaurants. One could tell that everything was made fresh and with a lot of thought.
Buffet style breakfast was also very good.
The staff was very friendly and nice, helpful and communicative, they helped us plan our days in the area and made us feel very welcome.
Overall a great experience, we highly recommend!
