I walked in sat down and ordered beer and soup straight with the owner who served us (at least I believe that he was the owner)he told us - "first, lets order drinks and then food". I mean we are there as a guest - if, he is not able to take the order directly - please say it politely at least. Soup was ok, but I had better ones in Abtenau. Prior our visit we made a reservation for New Years eve. This time some Serbian and Slovakian was taking care of our orders - they were really polite and nice to us. We have ordered some dish of mixed food for two and it was not goodat all. I would say that the staff are OK but the food is not that good or we are not used to heavy oilly meat.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Very nice hotel with a great ambient- just what you need in this part of the world. Food in the restaurant is fresh and of high quality, breakfast very tasty, too but with limited options for people with food intolerances, allergies or on special diets. Pool is super nice. Only the rooms despite the large size and amazing mountain view are quite basic- we were missing a kettle to be able to make coffee or tea, or some basic toileters like shower gel or shampoo and a small fridge- all of which are quite basic for a 4-star hotel.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We spent the New Year's Eve at this hotel. The food was extremely poor, I ate in the room after that. Very rude waiters,they took our food from the table before we finished it without asking. Just to pack the tables as fast as we could. The rooms also left something to be desired, the first hotel where I did not have a mini bar in the room and no bathrobes for the pool.
