My mom stayed in the room by herself, while my dad went out and my husband and I walked around Vienna. We starred Skype and placed the tablet in my parents bedroom. At 5:30pm she called the front desk because their tv was not working. After the front desk employees entered the room on multiple occasions to adjust and finally replace the tv, the tablet disappeared. My husband and I got back to the room after 8pm and searched the entire place, then inquired from the front desk employees if they have seen our Sony tablet? They were adamant about we took the tablet with us to the city! We DID NOT take the tablet. They also suggested that we look under the bed ? I continued to attempt to connect to my tablet using find my device. On the 12th, while in Romania, it came online with a Vienna IP address. They also attempted to log into my accounts, but were stopped by Google. We are extremely disappointed with Hotel am Schottenpoint!

It doesn't look like a hotel from outside, even when you walk in is confusing, just follow the signs. Front desk has limited hours so keep that in mind if you early or late check in/out.
C	Christian C. on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The hotel is good. Quiet, large room and toilet. My only comment, they should have atleast some free condiments on the room like coffee or tea & sugar. Otherwise, our stay was really good.
A	Aktan Acar on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Reasonable price for a reasonable place. Clean and safe accomodation, helpful and smiling staff. The room we stayed was really big. Toilet has windows for direct sunlight and ventilation. You can reach almost everywhere on foot.

There is a fridge and kettle in the room with cups but no tea/coffee, you can pick these up at the front desk from the breakfast room, no milk / substitute seen.

However, the beds in each of our rooms were absolutely terrible, making for less than ideal sleeping conditions. If the mattresses had been better, this would have been a 4 star review for me.

Breakfasts was great, for the adults and for the kid. Tram station is right across the street, metro is about 400 hundred meters away. Pizzeria is also next door, pharmacy, lots of coffee shops, bakery. All in all, great deal for the price. We would recommend to anyone. Leitner family from Dubrovnik, Croatia.
