I	Isti Buslig on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Taking into consideration that the hotel is situated in Austria, we were seriously shocked by the attitude of the manager. He was dishonest and untrustworthy and scammed us as often as he could. Based on a false avalanche warning, he moved our group 20 km further, in smaller and cheaper pensions. The difference in price was kept by him justified as organization expenses. And to emphasize that the avalanche warning was false, he rented our initial rooms to other guests.

The manager said that it is a big chance of avalanche and we could remain stuck there (but it was the best weather ever) so he moved us to 4 different accommodations (20 km farther). Besides that, he also left 3 people out, because there weren't enough places for all. Our offer included breakfast and dinner, but at the other accommodations we did not receive dinner at all and only 2 offered breakfast. The other accommodations were much cheaper, and the difference kept the manager for himself, justifying them as organization expenses. At the end, he also charged us for inexistent stuff. He was very rude and unprofessional. Probably he rented the rooms to other people and just wanted to make more money, that's why the LIE with the avalanches.
J	Josh Hardy on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Can’t understand the mixed reviews! 6 of us stayed for a week and had a great time. Friendly staff, great food and amazing value. We stayed in the Madelain last year that was 4 x the cost! Yes, it’s a bus to Ischgl but if your happy to do this, then I highly recommend Hotel Alpenrose. A few of the group had stayed here before and also enjoyed their stay! Hedi and her team were great. Galtur has an amazing free ride and is one stop on the bus!
R	Radu Fugaciu on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Total disappointed of this hotel. When we arrived at the destination the host has changed the rooms location without consulting us. This new location was 20 km away (time lost). Also the dinner was not offered anymore even if we payed for a half board treatment. The final receipt was also modified and the price got real high. I do not recommend this hotel to anyone. Be aware if you book that you may be surprised in a very bad way.
S	Sebastian Oßner on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I have barely anything bad to say about this place. It is no 5-Star Hotel, so much is obvious, but the cost-benefit ratio is insanely good. The staff is nice, perhaps the nicest I've encountered in a while, the location is also very convenient as there is a bus taking you to and from the surrounding ski areas which leaves every 10 minutes. The rooms are fair; ours looked nice and clean. I wouldn't know where you could find such an experience at such a price anywhere else.

We were quite awkward guests arriving back to the hotel from the pub at the last minute for dinner and they were always very accommodating. Small rooms that were impeccably clean. Great skiing in nearby Ischgl. We had a great stay.
