Hotel Alpenhof

Laszlo ist ein sehr guter Kellner. I have not seen any Wiener schnitzels and kaiser schmarrn. Those are typical austrian dishes and also very tasty. There are always salz sticks on the table. Of course, salz sticks are tasty but other snacks on the table is good for the variation. Laszlo is working really hard. Amazing! Al lot of Kinder! grab the donuts which should be used for the waterslide. They take them into the swimmingpool. That is not nice for the people who want to go from the water slide. And the wifi is bad These small things can change a lot. Very good hotel!

Best skihotel ever!

Really great for kids and teenagers, many sport and entertainment facilities. Rooms are beautiful and spacious. The restaurant is noisy and crowdy.

very nice hotel and friendly staff speaking dutch, german and english. the skibus stops right in front of it and walking into gerlos takes 1 minute. clean rooms every day, good breakfast and dinner.

Great hotel for families with children and youngsters alike! Clean, spacious rooms to suit any need, huge variety of quality food offered, great SPA amenities offered on-site!! Close to the village centre gondola for an easy start to your skiing day. A few minor remarks to state: - Free Wifi Internet below expectations for a 4* quality Hotel! - The very friendly and professional Hotel staff find it hard to communicate in English, especially the ones working in the Restaurant. - No slippers in the room for Swimming pool and SPA use! All in all, one of the best value-for-money hotels ever visited, will certainly come back soon!! We are certain the negative minor issues will be dealt with in the best possible way!!...

Pros: A very nice family hotel with many good sports and leisure facilities (heated pools, saunas, slide in pool, paddle, mini golf, trampolines, indoor football pitch, squash, nice game room, etc.). We really liked the indoor and a brand new outdoor pool. All areas are well maintained. Our room was very spacious and comfortable and it was cleaned every day. We travelled with two teenage boys and even if the weather was bad, we always found something to do. For the small children they offer more activities, like Kino on every evening, so the hotel is a good choice for families with small children as well. We really appreciated the kindness and attentiveness of the staff, especially Dóra, Péter and Tibi who make an enormous job to serve all the guests quickly with a friendly smile. The food was very tasty and it was different every day, congrats to the chefs as well. The surroundings are beautiful, you can take easier walks nearby (along the creek) or do some serious hiking. Don't miss the Isskogelbahn (there are great activities for children at the top) and the Krimml waterfall is a must too. Overall, we had a very pleasant stay at Hotel Alpenhof! Cons:The Wi-Fi in the room was very poor, but in the lobby and restaurant area it was good. Due to the 3G-4G coverage is good in Gerlos, we used Mobile data service in the room so we could survive it:)

Outstanding hotel, with outstanding hospitality. Super location just 100m from the new ski lift.

Not a luxury hotel, but very comfortable with a lot of different amenities and activities available for both adults and kids. Excellent location close to the ski lift and center of Gerlos village. Ski bus stop just across the road taking you to different parts of the Zillertal arena area. We'll be back!
