★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Schitour auf die Taghaubenscharte. Vom Parkplatz Erichhütte geht es zuerst auf dem Sommerweg biz zur Erichhütte. Danach immer steiler werdend bis zur Scharte. Harscheisen mitnehmen! Grandiose Abfahrt.
 Schitour on the Taghaubenscharte. From the Erichhütte car park you first take the summer path to the Erichhütte. Then it gets steeper and steeper until it reaches the saddle. Take a crampon! Grandiose departure.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Von der Erichhütte bei Dienten führt der Hochkönigsteig zwischen den imposanten Felsformationen des Grandlspitz auf der rechten Seite und den Hohen Köpf auf der linken in eine schmale Scharte auf 2289m. Der Ausblick von dort ist schier überwältigend: über die Felsköpfe hinweg nach Dienten bis hin zu den Hohen Tauern, direkt ins gewaltige Massiv des Hochkönigs sowie den Beginn des kühnen Königsjodlers.
From the Erichhütte near Dienten, the Hochkönigsteig leads between the imposing rock formations of the Grandlspitz on the right and the Hohen Köpf on the left into a narrow notch at 2289m. The view from there is almost overwhelming: over the rock heads to Dienten to the Hohe Tauern, directly into the mighty massif of the Hochkönig and the beginning of the bold Königsjodler.
