★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Large meals for the money. Spareribs are good yet I had a burger that was a bit too fatty and too much sauce on it. Fries were too salty, had to drink a gallon of water afterwards. Desert Panna cotta is hardly inspiring (few drops of whipped cream and lot of basic fruit) so best to skip that desert.

Excellent location right in the heart of Mittersill close to the market and restaurants and 5mins walk from the Pinzgauer Lokalbahn railway so easy access to the cable car lifts and areas like Zell am see and Krimml. Rooms are large and spacious, perfect for families. Excellent cleaning service and mini-spa area on 3rd floor. Only thing missing is a mini-fridge in the room.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The rooms near the elevator are very very noisy. Bring your earplugs if you want to sleep. Not enough parking space. If you want to eat at the restaurant you need a reservation before you arrive because they don’t prioritise the guest hotel.
