★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Zimmer sehr sauber und nett eingerichtet ABER leider bekamen wir ein Zimmer, welches nicht ganz auf die Beschreibung im Internet nicht zutraf.
Reserviert war ein Zimmer mit Küchenutensilien, kleiner Kühlschrank, Toaster, etc. aber nichts der gleichen war vorhanden. Als wir dies ansprachen war ihnen nichts davon bekannt (in dem "Hotel"heft im Zimmer stand das gleiche wie im Internet), war aber dann bereit uns Besteck, Teller und Tassen zur Verfügung zu stellen. Für die Sauberkeit und dann doch noch die Bereitstellung einiger Sachen gibt es zwei Sterne.
 The room was very clean and nicely furnished BUT unfortunately we got a room that didn't quite match the description on the internet.
A room with kitchen utensils, a small refrigerator, toaster, etc. was reserved, but nothing of the same was available. When we mentioned this they weren't aware of anything (in the "hotel" booklet in the room was the same as on the Internet), but they were ready to provide us with cutlery, plates and cups. There are two stars for the cleanliness and the provision of some things.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ A simple but good place to stay, with great views and a friendly host who will take good care of you.
Positive points:
- Location: near the bus stop, walking distance from the ski lift. It's uphill but the advantage is that you can ski back from the lift. Finkenberg is a small town but has a selection of restaurants, bars and shops nonetheless, though the house is not on the main street so it's quiet.
- Cleanliness: we couldn't find a speck of dust in the whole house.
- Parking: free right in front of the house.
- Room: not just a bed but also a table and chairs, nice balcony with excellent views, tv and plenty of storage space.
Possible negatives (for some):
- Breakfast: it's plenty, even to take out some for lunch. There are also things to choose from, but you will get pretty much the same cold stuff every day. It may get boring if you're the type who craves an occasional omelet, toast or sausage.
- Amenities: Eva was happy to microwave some stuff for us in her own kitchen, but other than a fridge, water boiler and coffee maker, don't expect to have any cooking facilities available in the common area, so you kind of have to go out for dinner.
All in all highly recommended, just know what (not) to expect for the low price!
