★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Really nice hotel. Good beds. Friendly staff. Good breakfast and dinner. And an indoor wellness with a few sauna's and relax room is pretty nice after a day in the piste.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ When leaving in the evening, you turn in your room key at 10AM, meaning you can't access the sauna, the back entrance, or even the ski room, so there's some extra logistics needed.
The food was fantastic, except for those weird knödls, but that'll never change.
The "Green Line"-bus line (which goes to the glacier at Hintertux) has a stop right in front of the hotel, and the Finkenberger Almbahnen are just a 100m walk(uphill).

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Professional, helpfull staff. Not everyone is fluent in English, but senior staff is. Rooms are good, clean, beds are made every day. Bathrooms clean, shower clean, hot water, nothing broken. Sauna and steam bath included. Dress code in the spa is nude, so if you have a problem with that, too bad. Diner is good, certainly compared to other options during winter sports season. Breakfast good, coffee agreeable. All in all a good place to stay. Walking distance (300 yrds) from the gondola. Bus to Hintertux glacier stops accros the road.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Book a room in this hotel. Staff is super friendly, rooms and all other areas are clean. It's close to the lift (you can walk there, bit tricky with ski boots on, but manageable, and you could ski back from the lift through the garden :) enough parking space, some even in a garage. They have a proper gym, so you can actually work on your "guns" should you want to. Sauna area is clean and good, the area where you can leave your skis, boots and boards is good. I was there just a few days after Valentines and received and upgrade of my room, so that was a big bonus. If you are a party animal, don't stay at Finkenberg, because there is nothing to do when the elevator stops running. Would take my two kids here next time, but was with a friend.
