Ein unglaublich gutes und traditionsreiches Fachgeschäft für Papeterie und Schreibgeräte. Die Beratung war sehr gut.

Zum Glück gibt es noch eines dieser alten Traditionsgeschäfte der Stadt. Wenn man den vorderen, touristisch angehauchten Teil des Geschäftes hinter sich gelassen hat, landet man in einer sehr gut sortierten Schreibwaren-Abteilung samt kompetenter Beratung.

Hackenbuchner bietet eine Auswahl an Papeterie-Waren wie Karten, Einbände, Schreibwaren usw. Wer durch den langgezogenen Eingangsbereich bis hinten durchgeht, findet sich in einem Reich der schönen Schreibutensilien wieder. Hier gibt es alles was das Herz begehrt: Füllfederhalter, Bleistifte, Kugelschreiber und schöne Tinte dazu. Daneben natürlich auch jede Menge Bürobedarf. Die Betreuung ist sehr persönlich, die Beratung auf hohem Niveau. Hackenbuchner ist eines der wenigen Geschäfte in der Salzburger Getreidegasse, welches wir gerne weiterempfehlen!

Sorry. I cannot rate higher. They are liars. I bought too many souvenirs from them, and I am a traveler on budget. I am used to 5 star customer service in USA, so I am very very disappointed. First of all, everything is at least 1,5 times more expensive than similar things in other shops. For the second, they hurry up to sell you things and then quickly get rid of you to take another customer. When I asked about tax free, she said it is not sufficient for tax free, no offer to buy more for it. At least that money is not taken from their profit. After several days when I should return, I noticed that I bought much better souvenirs than huge keychains and magnets that were much more expensive in their shop. When I tried to went to return some of them that I liked less, the answer was short and mean. "Sorry, but receipt you give me does not contain the names of items, its just a cashiers check". I asked if they have other type of receipts. She said no. My question is, isn't it illegal to hand only these types of receipts with no possibility of return? I would never recommend anyone this shop. To be honest, customer service in Salzburg and surroundings sucks. Sellers and cashiers are rude and cold, they smile and are cold polite only when you pay, and hurry up to get rid of you. Nothing in common with US customer service in general. I don't say about small exceptions here and there, but my advice is, BUY AS FEW THINGS AS YOU CAN BECAUSE YOU NEVER KNOW IF THEY ACCEPT RETURNS. They trap you to buy more things, but no returns accepted except if they are international brands. I would not recommend this shop to anyone. Entschuldigung bitte.
